"GREAT AMAZING HOTEL. A bit pricey but for the comfort and location for spa it's GREAT! Breakfast buffet is the best one I have ever been to. They have everything you would want for breakfast. It also has the BEST times until 1100 weekdays and noon weekends. AMAZING. I highly recommend. The spa was NOT the best. To get drinks you either go to the restaurant or a small bar in spa area. "Insgesamt hatten wir eine gute Woche in Presseck. Allerdings mit ein paar Abstrichen. Die Betten und Matratzen sind vielleicht etwas für Kinder, für Erwachsene überhaupt nicht geeignet. Durchgelegen, knarzend, quitschend und zu klein. Das ganze Haus knarzt bei der kleinsten Bewegung, bei den ganzen Durchgangszimmern sehr ungünstig für jeden Schlaf. "Our family of 5 (2 x parents, and 3 x teens aged 18, 17 and 12) enjoyed staying in this lovely original farmhouse very much. Space is important to us, and here there was more than enough bedrooms for each of the children to have a room each, plus one spare. Downstairs the big communal kitchen diner was perfect for family meals and games. On arrival, found out you don’t stay in the schloss, rather a very unattractive side building, freezing cold, tiny room. "The house was roomy. We enjoyed having a bedroom for each of us. The two bathrooms were great with four women. We rested on the patio even tho it was winter. It was lovely to sit in the afternoon with a cup of coffee."

"Lovely quiet, rural area. Fabulous forestry, rocky outcrops, scenery so green. Great for walking, cycling, exploring this part of northern Bavaria. Even though rural roads, superb, easy from A to B. Staff lovely in the hotel. Spoke good English for restricted German speakers. Comfort Room spacious and clean. Little terrace with outside seating. Great views. No sound issues from rooms next door or above (we were ground floor). Great shower! But no tea/coffee facilities in room. The usual wonderful buffet breakfast. Adequate evening meal but then chose to eat out in the evening for the other two nights; wanted to experience more. Didn’t use Spa or swimming pool; too much to do and see elsewhere in the vicinity to include in our three night stay. "
