Nice property!
My family really enjoyed our stay at this Schulenburg property. Everything was all new and very clean. Loved the decor - so fun! The rooftop deck was a great place to relax.

Awesome getaway
We came in for the Cattle Country Music Festival my husband and I and 3 teenage girls. We found this place last minute we always like somewhere different to stay and this was up our alley. Coolest place they did a great job restoring the Sinclair down to the little details to make you feel at home. We will definitely re book and recommend it to friends and family.

So much personality!
We loved our stay at The Sinclair! The retro vibes of this spot are on point. Comfortable beds, no clutter, very clean…great launching point to see all the stops in and around Schulenberg. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay!
We had an excellent time at the Sinclair! It is furnished perfectly with everything you might need or want. Your towels were so soft and the beds were all super comfortable. The host was friendly and check in and check out was smooth. We enjoyed the roof top deck in the evenings. It was centrally located to some great restaurants and a couple of wineries. The painted church tour and Shiner brewery were easy to find. We would stay here again for sure! Highly recommend!!

The Sinclair was awesome. Very clean and comfortable! Loved the decor, very fun. The kitchen is well appointed. Didn't need to bring anything but our food. The BBQ Pit was very clean and worked great. The backyard could have been any better to just relax and get to visit. The Sinclair was a perfect destination for our trip!! Will be staying there again!! Sarah Kate did a fabulous job of making us feel welcome and well taken care of. Thanks for your help in making some great memories!

What A Cutie!
My husband and I were in town for a wedding and what a cute place to stay. We were so happy to find this little gem. The pictures are exactly what you get and the decorations were perfect. The place was extremely clean and all appliances and kitchen cookware, utensils and gadgets were top notch. If you're looking for a place to stay in Schulenburg, look no further than The Sinclair. We loved it!

Unique Peaceful Stay
My sister and Myself wanted to take my Mother to see the painted churches for her 80th Birthday. We saw this on evolve and thought the place looked so different we had to go. The pictures are accurate. The car theme is throughout. The place was very clean and welcoming. It was quite and perfect for our weekend. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. I want to go back and take my Husband and children.

An Incredible Experience
5 Canadians walk into a gas station. I’ll cut to the punchline… 11/10 experience. When you first pull into the parking lot you know that you are in for something special. Aesthetically The Sinclair is a nostalgia machine. As soon as you walk through the door you are greeted with a beautifully finished and incredibly well appointed home. The property has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Plenty of towels, a great kitchen with everything you could ask for, an incredibly comfortable living space. The vintage 1950’s jukebox is such a unique addition to the home. It plays a variety of songs spanning decades. The outside of the home is just as exceptional as the inside. A fully equipped backyard with a seating area, grill, fire pit and corn hole is a great way to spend a few hours in the evening with friends and family. Up on the roof there is a great deck with chairs and couches, ideal for having a cocktail or two, a conversation, and enjoying the peace and quiet of the countryside. The host is extremely responsive and accommodating. If you’re looking for a incredible home and unique property, you’ve found it!

Best Unique, out of the way loding with cool nostalgic amenities
Booked this lodging space for my wife and I and my nephew and his wife to stay during our pending visit to splahway water park for the weekend. Just like the photos, the place did not disappoint. It was a real modernized gas station Spacious and clean with cute touches of nostalgia. The jukebox worked for 6 or 7 songs before the needle got stuck on one of the records, but the site and lights still made us smile. The upper deck was a good get away area to watch the stars and the backyard area was perfect to sit and have a drink and fellowship around the working fire pit. The rooms were neat and clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was spacious and perfectly laid out for me to prepare a mini seafood boil. The wifi could have been better, but it didn't stop us from enjoying our stay at all. No complaints. Perfect vacation space. I will return

Weekend in the Burg
What a perfect place! Wonderful attention to detail and fun decor. We were there to see family and attend the Schulenberg Festival. We will definitely stay there again. It was too warm (August) to enjoy the rooftop area or backyard- but would be a great place to gather in cooler months. Perhaps an umbrella or shade in the backyard would be a nice addition. Loved it!!

Restored to former glory!
The attention to detail, Sinclair merch and design used in this property is second to none! They literally thought of everything! Down to the refurbished gas pumps out front (that actually light up at night), to the faux bathrooms on the side of the building, to the quaint backyard fire pit area, to the comfortable beds, to the jukebox…literally I could continue! I love historic properties to be brought back to life and if you look in the welcome book you will see this one needed every bit of TLC they could find! This is the perfect, serene location off the beaten path of I-10 for a quick weekend get away. The host is super communicative and was a delight to rent from!
