The three-star house is quietly, but nevertheless centrally situated in Schneizlreuth-Weißbach, at the entrance to the Berchtesgadener Land, where the mountain valleys rise gently up to forest ridges and the mighty peaks. You can look forward to relaxing days in a region that is not yet overcrowded.
This non-smoking apartment furnished in a rustic country style is on the upper floor of the house and is accessed up marble stairs. It has a living room with a little kitchen unit and a big sofa bed (180 x 200cm, for an adult or two children up to 10 years old), and a bedroom with a double bed. The accommodation provides bed linen, towels, a kettle, a microwave etc.
The sunny balcony, with an open view of the mountains, is ideal for relaxing and listening to the babbling of the mountain stream.
An additional toddler in a little travel bed, up the age of three years old, stays free of charge. The host family lives on the lower floor of the house.
There are some restaurants a five-minute walk away. There are well-maintained hiking trails straight from the house, often lined by babbling streams, leading through stately high forests to romantic mountain meadows. It is a real experience to enjoy a snack with a view of mountains and forests, grazing cows and lush mountain meadows. Salzburg is only about 30km away. There is a ski lift for the whole family 500 metres away. Larger ski resorts such as Unken, Reit im Winkel or Kössen are nearby. A castle visit to Herrenchiemsee or a trip to the automobile museum in Amerang are unforgettable. In bad weather you can relax at the Rupertusthermen thermal baths with brine water about 10km away, or visit the salt mine in Berchtesgaden.
