"What a lovely place this traditional Austrian guest house is. It still retains that charm that I love, with traditional Austrian decor and architecture. I've been coming to Austria to ski for 30 years and this is one of the best stays I've had. The hostess was absolutely lovely and her hospitality was impeccable. "Anna was a superb host! It was my first time traveling internationally, and she made it a very welcoming stay with her warm demeanor. Breakfast buffet is plentiful and a guest mobility card is provided (different from summer card). I booked a double room which is small (I expected as such) but still very clean. Close to all the main transportation areas and walkable to downtown and Lake Zell. The view from my window was picturesque. Highly recommend!"

"Super smiley and friendly hosts! Very spacious apartment fully equipped. A private balcony with the view of the town and the Alps! Literally next to the town center. The hotel has great amenities (like the sauna). I would strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting Lofer. We loved the hotel and Lofer so much that we kept extending our stay! Wish we stayed longer..."

"I thoroughly enjoyed my staying at St Georg. The serivce has been great, The room was perfect in size, nicely furnished and very clean. The location just outside the village and walking distance to the Tauern Spa was ideal. Only thing is that I missed a broad toaster for breakfast. I would recommend it to anyone looking for affordable comfort."

"Fair price, very clean, but slept horrible. Curtains are thin so I woke up at 5:30 from the sunrise. Mattress was worn trough and no slatted frame. Cleaning personnel in the hallways at 6:30, and marching into the room using their key without knocking at 08:30. Unhelpful and unfriendly receptionists on various occasions. "

I had a early return flight departing at 5 30 am by taxi and the owner made me and packed lunch without asking . Very relaxed and helpful . Would highly recommend , but no lift ."
