Communication with the host was great although confusing at times as we also received communication from a German property manager in German ahead of our stay. "My family and I use VRBO / HomeAway regularly and this is by far the cleanest property with the most helpful host ever. The photos really don't do the apartment justice...it is much larger than it appears and is super comfortable for a family of 4-5. The unit is furnished with all the modern conveniences and has an outstanding view of the lake and the Alps. Charming Meersburg is a short walk and there are lots of other things to do within an hour's drive along beautiful Lake Constance. Thanks...

"Wir sind nach zwei Tagen raus gegangen und sind in ein Hotel gegangen.Es war nicht so wie es sein sollte in der Dusche war Schimmel am Fenster war schwarzer Schimmel der gesundheitsgefährdend ist, es waren Spinnenweben in den Ecken, es lagen Augen Tropfen zwischen Matratze und Bett Kasten und Kaffee Flecken auf der Fensterbank .ich habe dadurch 560€ in Sand gesetzt und noch da zu sind noch meine Hotel kosten da zu gekommen . Ich las mich nicht von einen ab ziehen der Gastgeber hat mir 200 €...

"The house is well laid out with everything you need. Oehningen has the best ice cream in the world at a farm off Hoeristrasse and a wonderful swimming beach with all facilities for a very modest price. Lots of country walks and ferries up and down the lake."

"WOW! Sabine and Reinhard have been wonderful! Apartment is great and very comfy. English/French/German you’ll love talking with these two kind souls when you need any assistance. You are only 30mn away from downtown Friedrichshafen (La Perla Ristorante is excellent btw) We’d stay there again in an heartbeat! Thank you very much Sabine and Reinhard"
