"We had a really relaxing time here. The cottage is small but that suited us, and the view across the fields filled with all kind of wildlife was superb (not forgetting the chickens next to us and the three walking ducks!). And the huge windmill next to the canal is something to behold. "There was mold on the wall in the primary bedroom.You have to put your own linens on the beds.No towels come with the accommodation and if you need more toilet paper you have to bring your own. This was fine besides those things. Had we known ahead of time it would have been great!"

"Lake House 74 exceeded our expectations! We were a group of 6 - 2 couples with our adult children. The location of the house was perfect - just outside of Leiden, situated along a canal. The house had everything we needed for our stay. Stephan was easy to contact, very responsive to all of our requests, and made us feel at home. He also had great suggestions for local activities. Be sure to rent a boat and drive through the canals to get to the center of Leiden. I would stay here again...

"The apartment was spotless with everything you needed to be home away from home. It was very unique and comfortable. it was very spacious and overlooked the farming area so peaceful and relaxing. The bed and bed linen were of quality which make for a perfect nights sleep. Parking was available right outside the door which was appreciated. If travelling with more than 2 people there is a second toilet and wash basin upstairs next to the second bedroom, where the wash machine is also located....
