"I have been to Hamburg a few times, and this hotel always catches my eye. The name is actually special to me. This trip, I decided to spend a few nights here. The stay was amazing. The check in was quick and the receptionist was super helpful with the layout of the hotel. I had help getting my bags to my room, which was more than helpful. I love the mini bar, well stocked. "Fantastic hotel, right next to St. Pauli football stadium. Really interesting building full of history, great coffee shop on site and restaurant looked good but we didn’t use. Rock shop on site but closed on Sundays so didn’t visit. Great rooms with comfortable bed and fantastic shower (with nice toiletries including separate shampoo and conditioner). Good space in room even basic room. Quiet room, couldn’t hear the football fans at the stadium when in the hotel/room. Walkable to the Reeperbahn...

"My room was feeling dirty even after the house keeping had been in . The floor was feeling full of soil . I was checking my shoes every time I was going in the hotel to be clean . I dint know maybe it is just me . I had to swap the floor with the bath mat . "

"The hotel is where it claims to be... a short walk away from Reeperbahn and a short walk from Millerntor Stadium/Heiligengeistfeld. My room was ready and was more or less what I'd expected, but the shower was very badly in need of maintenance (the shower head was not screwed on properly and many of the holes were clogged, probably with calcium deposits). There was also only one type of soap... no shampoo/conditioner/hand soap. The only bottle which had been on the sink said it was a body and...

"The room design is different, we liked it. We had a lovely garden view. We stayed on weeknights and the club/bar area was quiet. The days were very warm the last week of August, and the AC was adequate. Apparently most accommodations don't have AC, so we felt lucky. We walked everywhere from our hotel to see the sights. Train station close enough to walk, but Uber was easier! The location was ideal for us."
