"Way better than I was expecting. The service was great and the room was beautiful. I loved the burlesque theme throughout, it wasn't tacky of tatty. "This hotel was a lovely place to stay and was convenient for walking to most attractions. It’s only a 20 minute walk from Amsterdam Central and 5 minutes from the nearest tram stop. "Well located, 15 minutes walk from the train station and 20 mins from the center of the city. Hotel staff is friendly and very helpful. The reason for fewer than 5 stars is the elevators were super slow, it was hard to regulate the temperature in the room ( too hot) and the pillows too high and uncomfortable. Would give 4.5 if option was available."

"We stayed in the island lodge. The lodge itself is very nice, only downpoint of the actual lodge is lack of storage space in the kitchen. My biggest complaints about this place were 1. When making the booking it NEVER mentioned that the only way to access your lodge is via a small rowing boat. I kid you not. Relaxing

"This was our second stay. Last time we appeared to be above the kitchens with associated for slamming. This time we were further away and it was very peaceful. The room was very well laid out and comfortable. Lots of interesting things going on in and around the hotel. Parking can be problematic but we arrive late and leave early, so not a problem for us."

The hotel food and drink options are incredible (the best burger I’ve had in my life) and the front desk staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.
