Cottage With Sea Views

Sea View Cottage is a delightful original fisherman's cosy cottage situated in an enviable position in the seaside resort of Scarborough. It is an original fisherman’s cottage dating back to the 1850's and is full of character and charm. It is a ten-minute walk from the cottage to the award winning sandy beaches and promenade or to the hustle and bustle of the town centre. The spectacular sea views from the upstairs bedroom show you just how close you are to the sea front. The property has recently undergone a refurbishment into a modern, well-equipped cottage with tasteful decor and furnishings throughout. It is an ideal base for couples and families looking to explore this beautiful part of the Yorkshire Coast and is a haven for walkers and cyclists with lovely cliff top walks and cycle tracks located close by. The accommodation comprises of a lounge/kitchen/diner with electric fire, TV with HD/Freeview and built in DVD. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, slim line dishwasher, washing machine in outhouse. The bathroom includes a walk-in electric shower and bath with shower mixer tap. The second floor bedroom can be arranged as a super king or twin beds. WiFi is available at the cottage. Scarborough has everything you should need to have an enjoyable holiday to remember. The Sea Life Centre is a great family day out or you could take a trip out on one of the pleasure cruises, speed boats or fishing trips available. Scarborough Castle is only a few hundred yards from the property. The open air theatre, which is the largest in Europe has some excellent events going on throughout the year. There are numerous activities in Scarborough for all ages including Alpamare a new indoor/outdoor waterpark. golfing, fishing, indoor go carting, bowling and cinemas and lots more. A short drive will bring you to the historic town of Whitby from where you can board the North Yorkshire Moors steam train that will take you on a trip to remember through the glorious Esk Valley to Goathland and Pickering. The coastal resorts of Robin Hoods Bay, Sand send, Staithes and Runswick Bay are also within easy reach and well worth a day out.

Cottage was perfect for a little family like ours. Great location close to the beach & food places we also found a little wooden park 5minutes round the corner that was brilliant for the kids to have a run round. Cottage was clean ,plenty off space inside and affordable for a young family. Will definitely be booking again and will definitely recommend to friends and family.thankyou for our stay😊

Cannot recommend this property enough for a holiday in Scarborough. It’s location provides easy access to North or South Bay both only a 5 minute stroll away. The cottage is warm, cosy, clean, fully equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Thank you Andrea we had a great stay x

Wonderful cottage and it was exactly as listed. Great for our little family as close to the beaches and the town - we didn’t need to use the car while there as everything was within walking distance. The cottage was fantastic with everything that you could want for a family holiday base. Thank you for a great stay and we would defiantly book to stay again.

Beautiful, clean, homely cottage
The property was spotlessly clean and the bedrooms were lovely, as were the living areas downstairs. The bathroom was very spacious and modern. We really enjoyed our stay. The only slight issue we had was trying to find somewhere to park. We never did manage to park near the cottage, so we used a local car park instead. The location of the cottage was great. It was an easy walk to the beach and the shops and the views from upstairs were great.

Lovely cottage in a special location
Traditional cottage with marvellous sea views, modernised to a high standard. A short walk into the town or the beaches and local spots: the castle, St Mary's Church. Very conveniently situated to access Scarborough's attractions, both North and South bays. Hosted by Andrea who was so attentive and replied quickly. Fabulous!

A lovely property - very clean, charming and homely. Andrea is a great host and very helpful. Would gladly stay again. Only difficulty is if you are elderly and not able-bodied - the stairs are very steep as are the streets nearby! And permit parking is a bit of a lottery depending on whether there is a space nearby.

Excellent comfy cosy cottage in a quiet part of close to the castle and the harbour.
Spent 3 lovely nights here. Really comfortable well equipped and clean, within easy walking distance to all the attractions of Scarborough. Striking distance of many other tourist destinations. Spent one day in Whitby. Onstreet parking with passes provided. Plenty if local pubs and restaurants if you don't feel like cooking . Highly recommended, would definitely book again, thank you.

Seaview Cottage
I really wish I'd booked this cottage for a few days longer - it's so cosy, homely and full of character. The living room is comfortable with lots of charming touches; both bedrooms are spacious with lovely furniture and bedding, and I was blown away by the size of the bathroom. The back yard is nice and secluded; ideal for enjoying a coffee in the morning before setting out for the day, or dining al fresco in the evening. I highly recommend this property and can't wait to come back!

Enjoyed the cottage which was spacious and airy although two older members ((70s and 80s) found the stairs hard work. But it was an old fisherman’s cottage so not surprising.
