Stepping inside it is spacious, bright, and modern. The owners have extended the kitchen into an open plan living space, bathed in light from a wall of glass opening onto the enclosed patio. The superb kitchen complete with island is very well-equipped. When you gather around the dining table in the evenings, open a bottle of something special as laughter and stories fill the room. There is a separate living room at the front of the property, with comfortable sofas around the TV and gas fire, perfect for a movie night together and to recharge after a busy day.
On the first floor is the main family bathroom with free-standing bath as well as a separate rainforest shower, a kingsize master bedroom boasting spectacular views over the waterfall in Peasholm Park, a second kingsize bedroom as well as a well-appointed single bedroom. On the second floor is a second single bedroom, a twin bedroom, and a shower room.
There is a garage perfect for storing bikes, which also has a utility area complete with tumble dryer and a changing area perfect for after a fun filled day at the beach. Neighbouring Peasholm Park has stunning gardens, lakes, and waterfalls. There are boats and pedalos, and in summer, a brass band to entertain you. The park is famous for the Naval Warfare Battle where model ships re-enact a battle on the lake. Nearby is Alpamare water park, with slides and wave pools for children, plus a spa for a day of indulgence for the adults.
There is also the Open-Air Theatre with its fabulous line up of chart-topping bands and iconic artists. Close by you’ll find a miniature steam train and the historic water splash boat, delighting visitors since the 1930’s! The town is within walking distance with lots of boutiques, and for those who prefer the nightlife, there are plenty of bars, restaurants, clubs, and a casino. Scarborough benefits from two bay’s; the South Bay is a traditional seaside resort with donkeys, amusements, and shops, whereas the North Bay is quieter and more relaxed. At the far end of North Bay is the Sea life Centre where you can walk through an underwater tunnel and see the rescue seals. Halfway between the two bays, the castle stands proud on the cliffs above.
