Family Highlands Vacation
Memories that will last a lifetime were made in this lovely home just outside of Highlands, NC. The owner was very easy to communicate with and provided us with everything we needed. There were even cinnamon rolls in the freezer for us to cook one morning. We enjoyed hiking, zip-lining, and LOTS of Monopoly! Property was very clean and accurately described. We can’t wait to come back!

What a fabulous mother daughter getaway for new years! This is our second visit to Nestle Inn and it is such a cozy home to relax in the mountains. Super easy access to Highlands Outpost for the kids and the cinnamon rolls were fabulous once again. Thank you Linda!

So pleasant! This spacious cabin provided the perfect weekend getaway. Well apportioned and tastefully decorated, we thoroughly enjoyed this centrally located "base camp" for hiking and dining in Highlands.

This was our second time staying at Nestle Inn. It’s such a beautiful home! The owner is wonderful. She made sure we had everything we needed and even brought delicious cinnamon rolls over. We definitely can’t wait to come back soon!

High end finishes, fixtures and decor. Very nice and comfortable home. Nice bedding, excellent bathrooms. Kitchen is well equipped. Easy drive to Highlands area. One of the best information / local guide packets I have ever seen in a rental property. So many things to do in the area. I recommend lunch at Wild Thymes Gourmet in Highlands. Glen Falls hike is beautiful.

My wife and I rented out this property for a weekend get away and had to force ourselves to go out and explore the surrounding areas. The house was so comfy and perfect that we didn’t want to leave. Quiet Escape
This place was great! It was beautifully decorated with everything you could possibly need, both inside and outside! It is located down a very quiet, private drive which instantly makes you feel on vacation. The beautiful fire pit was great for relaxing after our hike and walk around the Highlands. The beds were so comfortable - I think we got the best sleep we’ve had in months! Linda was so helpful and quick to respond. We can’t wait to go back!

We loved staying at NestleInn! My twins are 6 and they loved the house so much that we actually didn’t even go out one day and just stayed in. It is convenient to Highlands and Clayton. There is a lot to do but it’s also a great place to relax and hang out! We will be back!

Great stay, will be back
This was a perfect place for us, 2 couples. The host was very kind and accommodating. Check in and check out could not have been easier. We enjoyed the fire pit, playing with the various board games, the gas fire place, and the corn hole. The location is great, you aren’t far at all from downtown highlands and the trails this area has to offer. The house was clean and I was impressed by the interior, the bathrooms were luxurious (heated floors, nice showers, and sinks) and beds were huge and comfortable. This was a fantastic stay especially for the price, hopefully we will be able to come back in the fall!

Best of both worlds!
You can tell so much thought went in to creating Nestle inn. From the state of the art Wi-Fi extender to the heated bathroom floors this cabin is a gem for sure! My daughters loved the property, the games and we loved the kitchen! We will be back for sure.

We really enjoyed our stay at NestleInn…what a beautiful VRBO rental. Very welcoming and relaxing…loved the gas fireplace! Linda checked on us several times to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. NestleInn is so beautifully decorated, with very comfortable beds, and a great walk in shower! Everything about NestleInn is just like home. The area is just beautiful. We spent every day out and about…great shopping and delicious food. Everyone is so pleasant and welcoming. NestleInn is the place to stay!

Nestle Inn - A Perfect Retreat!
We absolutely loved our mountain getaway to the Highland at NestleInn. Tucked away on quiet and serene Scaly Mtn this home is beautifully decorated with cozy bedding, warm fireplace and a firepit, and plenty of porch space for rocking, reading, and relaxing. The hosts Linda and Bill left the lights on for us when we arrived, cinnamon rolls and coffee for breakfast, and were a text away of we needed anything. We will be back. Our favorite place in the mountains so far!

My husband and I love to get away for a mountain trip and we are soooo happy we picked NestleInn for our stay! The property is beautiful inside and out! It snowed while we were there and the huge windows were so gorgeous to look out and enjoy the snowfall! We explored Highlands while we were there and it was a super cute town! Nestle Inn is a great retreat – we felt luxuriously comfortable! The views are amazing! Huge decks and so many extras! Great place for kids. So many games and things to keep them entertained. The whole house is updated, beautifully decorated and has such a warm feel. The beds are so comfy and the house is exceptional clean and well maintained. Linda is very responsive and accommodating. Beautiful Cabin
NestleInn is an amazing house that is beautifully decorated. It truly had everything that we needed for a much-needed break from work and the holidays. The heated floors in the bathroom were amazing and the owners were incredibly accommodating and responsive. My daughter LOVED the cinnamon rolls that were left for us in the freezer. Definitely follow the owner's directions as we made the mistake of following Google maps. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we'd love to come back one day soon!

Excellent family cabin rental
We had a great time at Nestle Inn. The property was beautiful and the cabin was spacious and gorgeous, beautifully decorated interior, great linens, towels, everything you need in the kitchen to make meals and then some. They had a wonderful assortment of games for all ages. Some we had never played before and it was fun to try them out with the family. All the appliances were new and the TVs are large with plenty of options for viewing for all ages, 5-40. The outdoor seating was amazing, covered porches, tables, swing chairs, fire pit with plenty of seating. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful weekend! NestleInn is lovely! Linda thought of every detail- toiletries in the bathroom, cinnamon rolls in the freezer, coffee provided, games to play! The outdoor space was gorgeous, the house was perfectly clean. The bathroom floors were heated! Our children loved wandering around the yard and woods. We walked to a small waterfall down the road. Snow tubing was a few minutes down the road, and hikes just a short drive away! Everything was truly remarkable!

Romantic Stay
Nothing says 'romance' like a cozy house tucked in the mountains, cold nights, warm fires, cuddly throws, and a whisp of snow! This was our first stay during the winter months, and it may well have been our best visit to the property yet. It was extremely cold both day and night, and the fire pit was something we looked forward to every evening, as well as a fire inside. The house offers every convenience, but the heated bathroom floors may have been our favorite one! We've enjoyed numerous visits at Nestle Inn and have never been disappointed. The only thing that's changed from visit to visit is how much more we look forward to coming back each time. A special 'thank you' to our amazing hosts, Linda and Bill!

Awesome Property
Where to begin. The home is stunning for a VRBO rental property. The pictures are exactly defining the home. The bathrooms have heated floors. There is an abundance of plates, cups, and glasses. The outside area was so nice to have evening drinks. The master bed was firm but comfortable. The linens were above average. In all the years of our travels we have never had a nicer place to stay. Linda is a perfect host. She knows the area and always responded in a short time. This was a 10-10 stay.
