"I am a solo female traveler and it was my first time to Siciiy and Taormina. My stay was absolutely wonderful. This hotel is in the best location, so safe for a solo woman, and that breakfast was best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. I will be staying here everytime I come to Taormina. Staff was the best! "

"The staff at this hotel were very hospitable. They assisted with plans, dining reservations and provided parking service. Throughout our stay they called to check up on us and ask if everything was to our satisfaction. I felt sick during our stay and they even called to ask how I was feeling and if there was anything I needed. Overall excellent experience at this hotel."

"Great hotel with beautiful view of the sea and mount Etna. Peaceful and relaxing dining area for breakfast time. Good selection of breakfast food. It was a bit noisy depending on the neighbors and people above you but it is the structure of the building that cannot be changed. Feels very safe, staff were friendly and helpful. "

"The hotel was beautiful, clean, and in a great location. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and gave us great recommendations. It was our honeymoon and they upgraded our suite, the room was immaculate and the view was stunning. Giuseppe at the front desk was awesome. The food was delicious. The weather was rainy but we still had an amazing time. 10/10 honeymoon."

"My wife and I just returned from a week-long stay at the Mazzaro sea Palace. We were captivated by everything about the resort, but most notably the superior quality of the staff. "The hotel is about 20 minutes up a very steep and winding road above Taorimina so it's not convenient to go back and forth. The decor is dated, but the hotel has an old world charm and the setting is beautiful. The back of the hotel looks at Mount Etna and the wonderful pool faces it too. The breakfast was nice and had typical Sicilian pastries. They could update the decorations in the rooms and lobby."

I checked in late Sunday afternoon which meant reception was not staffed, but intercom provided all information to get in and access key card. Very comfortable bed and perfect pillows. "Great quiet spot on beach. A bit of walk to town but easier than trying to find parking and it’s a nice walk along ocean. We had a great room with huge windows looking towards ocean. The communication was not good. Had troubles finding the place and no responses to my inquiries The kitchen worked well "

"This property is ideal for a quiet break. the gardens and views are really remarkable. The area is so quiet. Its probably not so great with children as there are 200 steps to town or same to beach otherwise its taxis which cost a bit. Breakfast was great for the view, pehaps a little pricey for the content. "The Nautilus is wonderful. The staff is super friendly and efficient without being overwhelming and the facility is possibly the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed. Location is on the water and I suggest a beach view as our room was not. It was super quiet which is nice. Breakfast is awesome and the selection is huge though gluten intolerance is not well addressed. You are close to many great restaurants which is another plus. "

Villa Belvedere Review

"I upgraded to one of the studios which was a new experience for me but I enjoyed the view, the privacy, and having access to a kitchenette where I could keep snacks and whatnot. Maybe because they were refurbishing, but I was disappointed that there wasn’t a restaurant or bar on site to get a quick breakfast. The staff were very friendly and very accommodating."
