"First room offered didn’t have view but when I complained they upgraded to the best suite with sea view they have. Room service was not done first day, they compensated with management apology, immediately cleaning and dinner. I understand these might have happened due to holiday season and big number of visitors but the management immediate solution and problem solving was amazing."

"Great checkin experience. Very efficient and and friendly staff. The rooms are very clean but getting a little tired. The price was really good with an excellent buffet breakfast which was well worth the extra $10 per person. Free parking."

"This hotel lives up to its name “retreat”. The area is so peaceful and lovely. The team kind and welcoming from the outside guard to the reception desk to the waitstaff. It was just what I needed and the price was reasonable for everything but the good. The breakfast is overpriced for a standard buffet that you find in most hotels in the region."

"Kingfisher retreat still holds a special place in my heart and I need to thank the staff (especially Maher) for making my second visit just as wonderful as my first visit back in 2023, when more rooms were being added during that time. "From April 12 - 14, we booked the bubble room with temperature controlled private pool (D01) and the experience was amazing. For us, we did not run into any hiccups, especially getting there from Dubai. "After a long beautiful drive to get there, we were happy to find a large well appointed suite. The patio and living area were very accommodating and the bedroom was comfortable. The bathroom was small in comparison to the rest of the suite. But a nice shower was appreciated. The overall condition was slightly disappointing; not well maintained and uncut grass and dusty furniture on the patio and a broken sliding door for the shower..
