"The room was clean and adequate for our needs, although the photos give the impression that there is a dining area but our room was more like a standard hotel room with the addition of a microwave. Having said that, the bed and general facilities were comfortable and the location was great as we were visiting the town centre, the City ground and the Motorpoint arena and all were within walking distance."

"This was our 1st time booking an apartment and overall it was a good experience. The apartment is very secure with keypads on both the front door and the apartment door. The apartment itself is very spacious and well maintained. The kitchen has everything you need, good fridge freezer, good oven and hob, dish washer and the counter electricals like kettle and toaster.Bathroom with bath and shower is very nice and the bedroom has a very comfortable bed and lots of storage. I would rate it good...

"The Harcourt apartments are situated in a quiet area, near a chip shop and within easy reach of the main part of Newark town, the castle, cinema, parks etc.. The property is clean, with comfy beds and towels supplied. The single bed is a bit narrow, but ok for a child. The kitchen appliances look new and are good quality, but the fridge lacks a freezer box. There's a sofa in the kitchen, but not big enough to comfortably sit 3. It would benefit from another chair in there. I suggested to the...

"Lovely place to stay! Right in city centre, the place itself has everything you need- well equipped from plates, pans and hairdryer to a washing machine/dryer. The TV even has Netflix. Very nice and clean and great communication from the company on how to check in etc or if there is a problem."

"This apartment is big and equipped with most of facilities you need. There are co-op and store in gas station nearby. Highly recommend it to those planning a family trip. "

"Good for the price, basic room with a bit of decay in the property but perfectly clean. Close to town, room 6 that I was in was on the main street so was quite noisy from road noise etc. Not the hosts fault and it's close to town so what you would expect. Close to the canal which was a nice walk in the day. Felt safe and other occupants were quiet."

Getting the key from the lockbox was really annoying as it is across the road at a pub this doesn’t work with heavy luggage and an Uber who is waiting !! "Pleased with the property - we had a query and the owner answered us very promptly. The bed did creak a bit and was placed in a rather narrow space - very tiny bedside shelf so little room for glass of water / room to get in and out of bed . Lovely kitchen and lounge area and property nice and warm - slightly further outside the village than we realised as we would normally walk to the local pub for an evening drink rather than drive. Lovely and quiet though ( ducks walking around the lawn ) and...
