"A very warm welcome from the family, also a flask of coffee on arrival which was delicious and a souvenir package to take back with you. The apartment was spotless, with a well equipped kitchen, tv, radio and really comfortable bed. They couldn’t have been more helpful. The location is in easy reach of many towns in the area. We would certainly book to stay there again. "

Ideal als Stützpunkt für einen kleinen Wanderurlaub, da Winkel praktisch im Zentrum der Vulkaneifel liegt und alle Highligts, wie die Maare, die Manderscheider Burgen oder Gerolstein mit seinen "Dolomiten" nach kurzer Fahrt zu erreichen sind. "This is a very unique property in that you check yourself in through a machine and locate your room by yourself. There is a communal dining area where you can prepare your own food. We had an issue with noise, being at the front of the hotel, and the manager who was present in the morning moved us and upgraded us to a remarkable room with a balcony! This is a beautiful property! It is very unique. The service was outstanding!"

Checking in was a pleasure, made both informative and fun by the happy Mrs Schumaker. It was a delight to return here each evening, and relax in the cosy comfort of this house."
