"Beautiful location. As mentioned in an earlier review it would be nice to have an eating table inside. Swimming and snorkeling while world class are challenging at anything but high tide, as there are no really convenient entry points. Hosts were great, no issues, as was the can driver. May need to rework the sloping bathroom shower floor as it leaks into the bathroom. Mosquitoes are tiny and come out after rain so be forewarned. Enjoy "

"Emaho Sekawa is a total gem! Fijian warmth and hospitality was on full display from the warm welcome ceremony to the heartwarming goodbye song. The staff were top notch. They were attentive and accommodating at every turn, offering the highest level of personalized service you could imagine. They showed genuine interest in making sure we enjoyed every moment of our stay. We truly enjoyed all activities (sea kayaking, snorkeling, sand island, mud bath and waterfalls, cocoa plantation tour). The property itself is spectacular, with breathtaking ocean and mountain views. We stayed in Villa Emaho which offered total luxury, peace, and tranquility nestled among the dense tropical hillside overlooking Savusavu Bay. The villa was spotlessly clean and well appointed. Everything was in great working order and housekeeping/laundry upon request made our stay very comfortable. The food and service were superb! Everything was made to order with fresh, with local ingredients and served in our villa or at the bar. We were there to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday and the chef even made us a delicious gluten free birthday cake with cassava flour! "

"Loved the property. Top of hill location. Host helped with luggage, but will need to walk up 100 steps.... Health 57 &60 year olds, we handled the stairs fine. Property and views well worth it, extremely private as well. Best snorkeling in the area right on sight as well! Hosts were great and helped with any need."

"My husband and I honeymooned at Wavi Island and could not have dreamed of a better vacation. Shabana and Josh were extremely friendly and accommodating. The island feels magical, great for a romantic escape or a family stay with plenty of Peter Pan-type exploration for for the kids. We had a relaxing and romantic visit and Josh and Shabana provided local recommendations for food and activities that made our stay even better. I recommend Wavi Island to anyone interested in a story-book trip to Fiji!"

"I was at Daku for two nights. As a single traveler, it was very safe and convenient. The staff were amazing. There is snorkeling right across the street which is very convenient. Walking to town takes about 30 minutes and there aren’t sidewalks at points so I might recommend taking a taxi. I had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant on site and all food was excellent. Upon arrival be sure to ask which nights they’re having a buffet because it’s worthwhile planning to stay on those nights. My Bure had a nice outdoor shower and beautiful view of the ocean. When I return to Savusavu, I will stay at Daku again. "
