The property was easy to find and attractive. It matched the description. There were several minor annoyances (listed below) which did not physically impact our stay but which did make us feel unwelcome.
Pros:
-Plenty of room in the house
-bedrooms as described
-convenient location
Cons:
-They were signs everywhere with various rules, telling us how we would be fined if we did not comply. The most entertaining one stated that if we laid in bed with tobacco products in our mouths, we would be charged an extra cleaning fee.
-There were some excessive rules for this property. This include being told not to ball up the covers on the beds, and that we should swap the comforters for blankets from the closet rather than sleep with the comforters.
-The keys were left for us in the mailbox rather than us being given a code for the keypad on the door.
-Light switches were very difficult to find. This doesn’t seem like a big deal except it’s difficult to come into a strange house in the dark and not be able to get any of the lights turned on. We had to use our cell phone flashlights to figure it out. In the end, we found that the porch light was burnt out, and that the ceiling fan light was turned off with the pull cord, which was why the light switches weren’t working when we came in.
