Stay just Northwest of Forsyth Park and within walking distance to all of Savannah's shopping, dining, and attractions. Two Lucky guests will call this quaint cottage home - fit with a master bedroom and full kitchen.

Enter through the courtyard off Whitaker Street and into your peaceful oasis. Cobb's Cottage is the ground-level carriage apartment behind a Savannah manor. Walk into the main living area with ample places to kick back and relax. A full kitchen with range and refrigerator provides the essentials needed for a quick meal. The primary bedroom boasts a Queen size bed with luxury-grade linens and en suite full bath.

Head due East and grab brunch with the locals at Clary's Cafe. Stop into ShopSCAD and nearby retailers in the Downtown Design District to take home a Savannah souvenir. Just a short walk North will lead you further into the charming historic district.

What is parking like for this home?
This unit has on-street, metered parking which is enforced by the City of Savannah Monday through Saturday from 8am to 5pm. You have the option of feeding the meter, parking in a nearby parking garage, or buying a parking pass from the Parking & Mobility Services Office. All of that information is included in our confirmation email sent upon booking.

Cozy and comfortable - perfect for a couple.
The unit is a street level flat and very conveniently located adjacent to Forsyth Park in a quiet neighborhood. We truly enjoyed our stay. The air conditioning worked perfectly and it was nice to use the kitchen for breakfasts and snacks. The on street parking was no problem at all. Everyone we met was friendly and courteous. We will be back and would definitely stay there again.

Perfect location!
We loved our carriage house! The location is perfect - we walked or biked everywhere. Being so close to Forsyth Park is a real plus. The host, Chris, is great! He gave us ideas on things to do and parking. We loved Savannah - we hope to be back and stay in this charming place again!

Great Location
My sister and I were in Savannah for three nights. This VRBO was perfect for us. We were next to Forsyth park and could walk to Bay st and River st. We found street parking easily and bought the two day parking pass at the Savannah parking office. The bed was comfortable and we had enough room to spread out. We would stay here again on our next visit.

The property was quaint, comfortable and in a great location, especially for walking our dog. We got a parking pass to park on the street and were always able to find a parking spot. There is a back alleyway where you can park to unload/load your vehicle. Lovely visit to Savannah - beautiful city!

We brought our two dogs so it was great to be so close to Forsyth Park where we walked them often. Savannah is a very dog-friendly city so we had lots of company. We made good use of the free shuttle (which stops directly outside the apartment) but wished it ran later (stops at 7 p.m.). The management company was very responsive, allowing us to enter before the usual check-in time. Recommended.

At first glance, the place looks clean, but could use a deep cleaning. Very thick layers of dust and dirt on window sills. There was a thick layer of dusty concrete under the brick wall and a couple of dead bugs. Management should do a better tidy. Other than that, the place has potential and is very charming.

The apartment itself is charming, warm, and cozy, and the proximity to Forsyth Park cannot be beaten; however, it was the host who stole our hearts. Chris offered suggestions on where to dine, what to see, and was always a call or text away to help answer our questions or make our stay more pleasant. He indeed went above, and beyond expectations of a host, and by the time we left, it was sad to say goodbye. We consider ourselves quite lucky to have been invited over for a happy hour, meeting all the lovely neighbors, and being welcomed back with open arms. Savannah was remarkable, but our stay at Cobb’s Cottage was even more special.

Great location don't expect to sleep.
The good parts: great location, good management company, good air conditioning. Great city to visit! The bad parts: legally required second exit in case of fire is deliberately locked and barred and occupants are not provided a key, can't get the place dark even when you put towels over the main bedroom windows. The toilet paper is the thinnest one could possibly find, the paper towels equally cheap. That's a good word for the ownership attention to the comfort of guests: cheap. Some small attention to guest comfort: blackout curtains for every window to alleviate the sunlight bright security lights, paint the rust on the stove, provide something other than the cheapest of towel products and for safety's sake leave a key in the back door so more than one exit exists in case of fire!! It's probably illegal to not do so. My advice to potential guests, use this one only if you can sleep in daylight, bring your own paper products, and bring a fire extinguisher.

Not what I expected

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place is steps from the beautiful Forsyth Park as advertised but it was old and run down. The layout was awkward, the bathroom and the room used as living room especially. It was way over priced and I wish I would have stayed at the other Airbnb I was at. I thought it would be a good idea to change places but Savannah is so walkable it wouldn’t have mattered. Oh, the worse thing-the coffee cups were ALL dirty, stained. No excuse for that. There was no dishwasher but an sos pad would have cleaned them. The dresser in the main picture is not there and the framed pictures still have the price tag sticker residue on them.

Staff was very responsive in refunding our pet fee with empathy and courtesy.Fantastic location for easy walking to the historic district, as well as very close parks for your dog. We found handy free parking in the block between the property and Forsyth Park.Refrigerator and stove were spotless. Extra coffee filters were provided, as well as a pack of local coffee. Plenty of kitchen utensils, but no hotpads (bring your own!).Also, the digital confirmation is generic. It mentions pods for a dishwasher, but no dishwasher. It mentions detergent for washer, but no washer or dryer.The space was just fine for our overall needs. Plenty of towels plus small soaps and shampoo. Soft linens.Deep maintenance issues are long-standing (see other reviews). Deep clean needed on flooring; cleaning of rugs; and replacement of blinds.

Time for a deep clean and a bit of training

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I understand that everyone has a bad day and sometimes things get missed. Don't get me wrong, we love this place and I know it's hard to get people to work but there were a few too many cleaning issues. I knocked a slipper under the bed and a family of gnomes could have been hiding under the bed and you would have never seen them. The house was very dusty but the best part was I couldn't figure out why the fitted sheet kept slipping off the top of the bed. I completely stripped the bed and found out the fitted sheet was put on side ways so the bottom and top of the sheet would not stay on the bed. Also, someone's dog has chewed up the blinds. This was a bit awkward having pieces of the blinds missing and constructions workers walking by. Saying all this, please give this cottage a chance and hopefully they will do some retraining with their staff. Even after this, we will continue going back to this sweet cottage.

Great Location
This property was ideally located for those who want to walk around Savannah. Just north of Forsyth Park we could easily walk all over the historic district. It was clean and had everything we needed. It's an older location but fit in with the history of Savannah.
