This particular location was OK.
Pros: The bed was very comfortable, the couch pulled out nicely and easy for our daughter, and the kitchen was well stocked. We appreciated the Keurig pods, laundry detergent pods, dish wash pods(although they never seemed to dissolve), soaps, and provided toiletries. The location just a couple blocks away to walk to the south end of Forsyth Park, coffee shops, terrific breakfast and brunch locations, a Kroger, and more. Ample street parking was great. The TV is a Roku smart tv which came in handy when our little one needed a short tv break from all our activities. The decorations were adorable, and the unit stayed cold. Also, we felt very safe, as you need a code to get through a gate to access the property, and another code for the unit. The courtyard was cute, too. Shower water was easy to adjust to steamy hot or nice and cool with great water pressure.
Cons: The floor was dirty, so much so that our socks were black and practically sticky within a couple of hours. The renters did offer to send cleaners, but at that point we were already set up and didn’t feel comfortable having somebody come in if we weren’t there. The kitchen sink leaked underneath in the cabinet, the drawers on each bedside table fell out with just the slightest pull, and one of the drawers in the bathroom was practically impossible to open. The pull-out couch had a dirty bed sheet still on it when we opened it (clean ones were provided and used immediately, but still kinda gross to see upon opening). While the unit did stay cold, it was very humid, to the point that clothes and bedding felt slightly damp. Some light switches were missing adjustment covers, and some outlets were missing faceplates. Not a big deal but could be dangerous for a younger child than ours.
Overall we enjoyed our stay, as the hosts were very communicative, provided a great welcome packet with tons of helpful information, and included lots of sweet touches to help feel more at home.
