Amazing Loft with Parking and Deck above River Street by Lucky Savannah

Built in the 1800s, this historic loft was originally part of a cotton warehouse. It survived a major fire and turn as a vocational school before being completely remodeled to its current state as a luxury short-term rental.

Upon arrival you'll be able to utilize your private parking space directly in front of the home and head immediately upstairs to your urban oasis. The exposed brick you see as you ascend the stairs to the main level continues throughout the loft. Beams charred in the early 1900s add to the charm and warmth of this unique loft.

The full kitchen opens to the living room with a breakfast bar and an amazing view. You'll have everything you need to cook dinner or just to reheat some leftovers from one of the amazing restaurants at your doorstep. The beautiful living room with a comfortable linen sleeper sofa has a flat screen tv with cable, but with large picture windows and french doors to a small balcony, who needs tv?

A primary suite in the front of the home offers a true luxury experience with a Queen bed, seating area, and huge bathroom with a separate jetted tub and shower. The second bedroom, a cozy Queen, features original artwork, bold colors, and a large closet. The second full bath is right next to the bedroom, and has a tub/shower combination and plenty of counter space for getting ready for a night on the town.

When you're ready to enjoy the best view in Savannah, just head up your extra-wide stairs to the second floor to a huge rooftop deck with sweeping panoramic views of the Savannah River. Whether you're watching first Friday fireworks, overlooking the New Year's festivities, or just watching a beautiful sunset, this view is unmatched.

Great view and location!
The view from the balcony and rooftop deck were beautiful! The location was perfect. It was within walking distance of the shops and restaurants which was convenient. The loft was very spacious as well. Definitely will come back!

Everything was wonderful, but just wanted to mention one thing! As soon as you walk in, the entrance/entrance stairs carpet is holding an AWFUL pet/urine smell. You can’t miss it. Other than that, thanks for a great stay!

Very outdated, kitchen not equipped, description of place did not mention set of 2 very stout stairs, broken mirror, not enough towels, chairlift did not work, musty odor, felt dirty, but the best location. Needs to tell prospective renters about stairs especially if renters are older and disabled.

We loved the location. The size and layout were very good. The apartment was dirty in spots. The lights over the bar were so dusty that the previous guest wrote “wash me” with their finger. The AC vents were filthy. While the upstairs deck had a beautiful view the furniture was unusable. We felt that for the price we paid the experience should have been much better.

Air conditioner in front bedroom didn’t work. Hot water didn’t work for 2 days. Tile in front bathroom was gone. Back bathroom had no closet except a storage room that was filthy. Front bedroom the closet door kept falling off. Door frame to small patio was rotted out at the bottom. Furniture was awful. Old, ripped and dirty. Getting into our condo was a mess. 3 different codes before we got in. Not a fun experience. The best and really the only good thing was the location and the industrial look. For the price I paid I want at least some refund.

Perfect location overlooking River
This property was perfect for us overlooking the river The view was the best part of this property, It is in need of maintenance and cleaning. Upper deck chairs were in poor condition, rug in living room was dirty and stained. Many items needed attention. (Kitchen facet not attached, several lightbulbs burnt out, door lock to lower patio not working etc.) Overall we expected a cleaner, better maintained property for what we paid to rent it.

Biggest con would be the stairs. Very large steep stairs to get into the apartment. An operational chair lift would easy fix this issue, even if just for luggage. If I didn't have my teenager, I would not have been able to lug everything up and down with bad knees.
