Coral Reef Beach Aruba

3.0 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (271)
"When many think of Aruba they imagine casinos, all inclusive resorts and cruise ships. There is a lot more to the island. Ocean Reef Beach Apartments was the perfect fit on our trip. The owner and management is fantastic, the location was just what we wanted. We were there on Super Bowl Sunday and the owner brought out a big screen TV and we all watched the game with our feet in the sand! It’s right next to Flying Fish, one of the best restaurants on the island and owned by the same person. We...

"For such a cheap price, the accommodation is quite decent. Close to the beach and mini markets. The kitchen is equipped, but the are not many dishes. The stove works poorly, although it is possible to prepare a quick meal. We liked the warm tub. "

Driftwood Gardens

2.5 star property

"Unique experience in converted shipping containers. The place is clean but could use some additional maintenance. The room itself did not have hot water, showers are solar heated, i.e. lukewarm at best. The grounds are a work in progress, the caretakers are busy working but looks like it'll be a while before everything is updated. Random trash lying around on the ground around the exterior common areas was a disappointment. The food is just as expensive as restaurants around Aruba, but of lower...

Club Arias

8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (472)
" I loved the general quaintness of the property. Our host was very helpful with a delightful personality. The property could use some sprucing up but the possibilities are wonderful! We stayed in the nook room and enjoyed the outdoor shower. It would have been nice to supply us with washcloths in the bathroom. If you are not looking for a lot of amenities, and want a very quiet getaway, this would be a good choice. "
