Fantastic stay, here’s some pointers to save time
Fantastic stay here! Only three tweeks. So communication was very last minute, we were arriving late at night and worried we had no password or details for the key lock to get it and the owners were not responding. It did say 7 days before we would be contacted so I panicked and thought it was a dodgy booking the entire week, finally the day before we got details and all was fine! Second there are three restaurants in grangedisises however you have to book these well in advance, like all restaurants even in Sestriere so we ended up not being able to eat on the Saturday night anywhere, so please book somewhere before travelling. Lastly their is nothing provided within the room not even soap and fresh of an flight and 3 hour drive arriving at midnight we needed some soap so take these bits with you. Everything else very very good, so clean, perfect location for skiing in Sestriere not even a 5 minute drive and your there! Parking at accommodation is just behind it and gets so busy over the weekend you end up parking down the side of the road so a little hire car is ideal to squeeze into the gaps. Supermarkets arnt like in the uk, they are little shops in Sestriere, took us ages to find them! One is on the very front tucked in among all the many many ski shops ( entry is the door closest to the slopes) another was in the square up in the town of Sestriere both very good! Petrol station on the left as you drive into Sestriere. Skiing was fantastic!! Thank you
