"We stayed in pillac with 10 adults from 74 to 34, and 9 children aged between 2 and 18 and what a holiday we had! The house is perfectly set up for family groups as each lot can take a "wing". A really well equipped kitchen enabled us to have wonderful meals at home... meat cooked by the boys and wonderful salads cooked by Barbara's friend. Barbara was super helpful and very easy to contact the whole time. The village was gorgeous but tiny..... about a 10 minute drive for any grocery shopping....

"We have stayed with extended family and friends including a number of teens, baby and a large dog. Had brilliant time, house well equipped for all ages, pool is large and very well maintained. Extensive grounds with lots of places to relax including my favourite - the hammock! The views are to die for! All very clean and the owners were fantastic, helpful but not intrusive. We had such a lovely time and will come back to continue exploring the area - so much to do!"

"La Tissonie is great and totally private and in such a beautiful rural location but only 10 minutes from the town of Riberac which has a fantastic market on a Friday. Fred was very welcoming and helpful when we needed to ask a few things. We were a family of 12 from ages 21 to 79 and the property was perfect for us all to be together, and also space for individual and quiet moments if required. "We’ve had a wonderful week here. The pool is fantastic especially as temperatures were in the high 30s, thankfully inside the house remains cool. The garden is huge and beautiful with secure fencing allowing our dog to safely explore. Marie is welcoming and friendly, the perfect host. The house is lovely and very well equipped. The location is remote and peaceful but an easy drive to the next village for groceries and 2 bakeries."

"This is a beautiful gite in rural Charente-Maritime. It's close to some really pretty towns and to a number of excellent swimming lakes. We are family of six (grandparents, parents, two children) and there was plenty of indoor and outdoor space for all of us. It's really child-friendly with exclusive use of the pool, ping-pong table and a wide variety of games and toys.
