"The cabin is situated in the grounds of the manor house that once belonged to the author Laurence Durell. The hostess is amazing and cannot do enough to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. Walk out of the secure grounds and you are in the old town of Sommieres, with its numerous restaurants and bars . This place could not score higher if you want a base to explore the area."

The guests from another appartment at the property share the entrance, you are therefore outside not totally privat, but inside the house you are . We would highly recommend this beautiful place!"

"This is a lovely property surrounded by pleasant gardens and countryside. There is a great swimming pool which has an easy to use cover keeping the water temperature very comfortable. The houe is well equipped and there are plenty of outdoor chairs and loungers. It took us around 7 mins to drive to Anduze, a lovely little town with plenty of bars, shops and a supermarket. Guy, the owner is a very nice man with good English. We would love to return to this house."

"We had an amazing time at Nick and Jenny's wonderful cottage. The property was beautiful and set in the most peaceful countryside. So much wildlife and nature to enjoy and the lovely town of Sauve a short walk away as well as lots of walking trails. "An amazing place to stay. Very peaceful, with beautiful grounds and, of course, the clear river and its many pools for bathing. The wooden terrace, where we ate all our evening meals, was like being in a giant treehouse. Our little grandson loved to watch all the trees. Very relaxing and ideal for a family get together with lots of cooking outside and games of petanque! The track down to the gite is very long and twisty and might be a challenge in a car without much clearance but it got...
