I was looking for a quick getaway for mybwife and I for pur anniversary. I wanted something differnt to do and saw this listing for glamping. Its been a whie since we camped, so I gave it a shot. We arrived and were greeted by our host Gary. He took us on a tour of the campsite and welcomed us. The overall experience was nothing short of amazing for us.Just what we needed. Property isnt adverted correctly,no hot tube privacy and the pics are purposely deceiving and everything else somewhat accurate but the sailing point hot tube is at the host house on the back of it attached to screened in porch he calls a pavilion, with a large door with window in it looking out at porch and hot tube if you use it or are in it,definitely not situation you would put a wife or husband to use it and wonder if anyone casually walking through, host doesn't think its issue,he's and retired single male, and dont even know if he had permit from health department for his hot tube use as commercial like he does, was one anywhere displayed like required by law, just a chessy set up and sketchy, there are alot of barking dogs like was said in other reviews too,he has 6 or more in his house he told me upon arrival,me and my wife left and went into Helen and rent a roon to stay instead with hot tube and privacy to use it,nightmare trip, ended up getting a room in Helen to be able to enjoy some of trip, would advise goin and visiting this place before booking, its glamping and not terrible but not advertised accurately,no way of getting refund that i can find, host will definitely appear to have no wrong doing of situational responsibility,no one I know would have there spouse or partner in that setting with hot tube and not feel uncomfortable about it,BEWARE OF THIS PROPERTY

Glamping NOT at your finest
Lots of discrepancies on what was there and what was promised. Tent had mold. We had a two day stay and left after first day. Had to tell host when we wanted to shower because of leak. Shower head trickled. No way to rinse out hair. Shower had very thick spider webs and had not been cleaned in a while. Glamping is supposed to be a step up from camping. Hot tub not private. It was on the back deck of Hosts house. Host house can be seen from camp site. Did not feel private. Dog ran loose and begged for food. I’m ok with dogs but she was a bit aggressive with the male in the party. Lots of barking.

A Memorable Anniversary at Glamping Site
Gary was a wonderful host who went above and beyond to make our 15-year anniversary truly special. From the moment we arrived at the glamping site, he greeted us with warmth and enthusiasm. His passion for hospitality was evident as he patiently explained how everything worked, ensuring we felt comfortable and well taken care of. But Gary’s talents extended beyond hosting. As an amazing chef, he delighted our taste buds with a picnic basket that exceeded our expectations. The centerpiece was a delightful chicken salad, bursting with fresh flavors. The addition of German sausage provided a savory twist, perfectly complemented by a side of cheese and blueberries. And let’s not forget the thoughtful touch of including a cozy blanket in the basket—a small detail that made our experience even more memorable. It’s these little things that set Gary apart—the personalized attention, the culinary expertise, and the genuine care he put into every aspect of our visit. We left the glamping site feeling grateful and thoroughly satisfied, cherishing the memories of our special day. Thank you, Gary, for creating a magical and unforgettable anniversary celebration. You truly made it a time to treasure forever.

Awesome weekend Glamping!
My husband and I had an awesome weekend glamping! Gary was a wonderful host and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I’ve camped before but this was so much easier with less items to bring. The yurt was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I appreciated the little touches such as books and games as well as a coffee maker with coffee, tea, water bottles, etc. we loved our complimentary bottle of wine too! We enjoyed Gary’s gourmet breakfast and desserts as well. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. It was cold outside but we were warm in the yurt with the heater that Gary provided. We had a lot of fun doing all the fun stuff in Helen such as visiting the German restaurants/bakery, the mill, winery and antique mall(which is 3 levels with great prices.) We also hiked Ana Ruby falls one day. It’s a great, short, paved hiked but steep. We even walked the short nature trail on the property one day, exploring the grounds. All and all we had a fantastic, short stay and plan to go back!

Clamping tryout
Overall the property was good and we enjoyed our stay. The host was very friendly and we enjoyed sitting out at the fire pit at night. However, the light was out in the outhouse so it made using the potty at night more adventurous. There was also a huge spider web and spider in the shower area.

Nice
beautiful area, lovely stream, gracious host, and extremely cozy. exactly as described. the bathroom could have used a little cleaning but it was the off season so it probably didn't get much use recently. the hot tub wasn't quite hot when we arrived but the host extended the hours to use it due to the delay (again it was the off season and a pretty cold day). overall a great experience! will come again!

Anniversary Weekend
Try to plan on good weather. It rained before we arrived so the facilities were damp. I think that contributed to a slight odor around the tent. We ended up not staying. Overall, it just wasn't what we were looking for. That said, Gary was very accommodating and understanding. We arrived rather late in the night due to a work conflict and still he woke up to speak with us after we arrived.

Fabulous get away for our anniversary!
Had a nice relaxing stay. Campsite is private and surrounded by the peace and beauty of mother nature. Equipped with everything you need and lots of extras for a great camping experience! We can't say enough great things about Gary, he is the best host and a wonderful chef! We had the breakfast skillet and blueberry stuffed french toast both were delicious. Highly recommend his Brandy Alexander milkshake, also delicious! (so sweet of him to make them for our anniversary) We definitely enjoyed our stay and plan to return next fall. John & April Harlow
