"Een heerlijk verblijf in het huis van Patrick en Yvonne. Ze hebben ons goed verwelkomd en wisten ons nuttige tips te geven. De keuken is wat verouderd maar geeft zeker geen beperkingen. Het huis is koel, eventueel kan de airco ook aan. Dat was niet altijd nodig ofschoon we er midden in de hete weken waren. De badkamer is zeer comfortabel, een heerlijke doche! Het terras nodigt uit voor heerlijke ontbijtjes en lekkere diners en een wijntje en een kaasje achteraf. We hebben uitgebreid de sterren...

"The cabin is situated in the grounds of the manor house that once belonged to the author Laurence Durell. The hostess is amazing and cannot do enough to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. Walk out of the secure grounds and you are in the old town of Sommieres, with its numerous restaurants and bars . This place could not score higher if you want a base to explore the area."

Get to know the lovely couple who serve you bread at the Boulanger - their son is the baker and he is really, really good - his cakes are to die for. On your way back from the Boulanger, call in at the Bar des Colonnes for your morning coffee - run by a rather bohemian lady, it's a delight.
