This cozy 1890's farm house was renovated into multiple apartments. It’s been a home in our families history since 1969 and has gone through many changes over the last 50+ years. We’re so excited to open it to you and share our hometown and peace and quiet that is Quarryville with you.

The unit for rent is a two bedroom, one bath on the first floor, featuring a walk-in tile shower. A full kitchen with all stainless appliances and dishwasher, a Keurig single cup & 12 cup coffee pot plus toaster oven available for your use. Large cutting board island is perfect for preparing all your meals in a functional manner. We provide all of our guests with coffee and tea choices, sugar & sugar substitutes as well as half & half upon arrival. Should you require anything specific due to dietary concerns please contact us! The living/dining room has large south facing windows and let in plenty of sunlight throughout the day. With two recliners and a loveseat there is ample seating for guests, as well as additional chairs if needed. We provide wifi and full cable as well having an Amazon Firestick connected for any streaming services you may choose to use during your stay. We hope you feel as at home here as we have all these years.

Five minute drive to HITS and the village of Saugerties. 15 minute drive to Woodstock & 25 minutes to Hunter Mountain.

Roz's place was such a great getaway for me and my best friend! 10 min from Saugerties, 15 from Woodstock, great hiking nearby, and on a quiet enough road to take walks near the house as well. The place is super well-stocked, from the kitchen to the bathroom to the space heater and extra blankets in the bedrooms. It's incredibly cozy, and really exceeded my expectations of a short-term rental! Super homey, would definitely stay again!

Rosalyn and John's Quarry Cottage was the perfect remedy for the necessary change-of-scene my family and I needed to bring in the New Year! The neighbors were always engaging and friendly and our 6 month old dog loved the trails by the old quarry road. Thank you Roz and John!

A gem in a small village
We had a wonderful time in this place. Very clean and cozy and very nice and friendly neighbors. Kitchen had everything we needed and even more. Comfortable and very clean beds . We appreciate the fresh fruits and snacks left for us, was a very nice touch. Very attentive owners who cares about their guests. Definitely we will be back and I strongly recommend to everyone

We enjoyed staying at the Quarry Cottage. It was a beautiful autumn leaf-peeping getaway for me and my husband. The cottage is simple, very clean, and very comfortable and our hosts could not have been more accommodating to us and our dogs! The neighborhood is quiet and conveniently located to several area towns, attractions and hiking areas.

My daughter and I felt very at home during our stay for two weeks. So many little extras were provided to make it comfortable. There's a well- equipped kitchen so we could cook after our long days and it was wonderful having a printer accessible for work! They were very responsive to anything we needed and had a great proximity to HITS!

Home Away from Home
Quarry Cottage is a real gem. Comfortable and beautifully kept. It has a really lovely kitchen with everything you need and many thoughtful extra touches like fruit, yogurt, milk and water in the fridge and snacks when you arrive. We had everything we needed to feel at home and spent a hassle free and relaxing 10 days. It’s not much more than 15 minutes from the town of Saugerties and even with neighbors it was quiet and peaceful all day. Rachel the property manager was helpful and responsive to all our requests and gave us great information on things to do and see in the area. The WiFi worked flawlessly there is a great barbecue outside and a backyard to sit out in. We had a great experience and felt very at home.

A perfect home away from home
Everything was exactly as described. We were in great communication with the property manager, who even took some time to recommend places to visit for our family. My little one walked in to the place and shouted "a new home! i love it!" and we knew it would be a great stay. Kitchen was well equipped and had some extra goodies for us - coffee and fruits. Its all the little things that made it great. Beds were very comfortable and I liked how the outlets were updated to have usb ports. Neighbors were kind and waved hello. The location was awesome - everything we had wanted to see was within a 10-20 minute drive. Definitely recommend this place for a family who just want to get away and find some peace and quiet after a good adventurous day out.

Great peaceful place to get away
This cottage, which was cleanly and elegantly decorated, was a wonderful getaway. It was private, but not out of the way. The area was very safe, and close to restaurants and main roads. The beds were comfortable, another is a very nice kitchen and comfortable living room. The property manager also left some wonderful snacks, including fruit and drinks. And there is plenty of different kinds of coffee and new state of the art coffee maker. Very lovely place to stay.

Friendly owners & dog friendly cottage
Ros & John (and Rachel, the property manager we interacted with most) were wonderful for our long weekend in Saugerties. There’s a residence next door and one above and everyone was super friendly. Rachel was extremely accommodating to us and our (new) dog, going out of her way to make it dog friendly and comfortable. There are water/food bowls inside, extra poop bags & a dog leash/run in the backyard. The cottage is a good size, with strong WiFi and a printer if you need to work remotely. Thoughtful touches upon our arrival like fresh flowers & fruit. We were there on a hot July weekend and although there’s only one window AC for the cottage, it cooled the place extremely well (and 2 other window fans but we didn’t have to use them much). Finally - a well stocked kitchen with lots of pots and pans and a grill outdoors (although unfortunately with the rain we didn’t have a chance to use it). It’s about a 10 min drive to the cute downtown of Saugerties.

Cozy Property in the Catskills
We enjoyed a 1 month stay for work. It's scenic and quiet. Mountain drives, ski slopes, and the town of Saugerties are minutes away. Great water recreation nearby for kayaks or power boats on the Hudson River and its tributaries Roz made sure every detail was covered, and checked in frequently via email. Our stay was during the Covid shutdown, so we didn't get the full experience, but it definitely felt more like a vacation than work. The kitchen amenities are fantastic. Gas range with griddle, Keurig coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven, and dish washer. Wifi was great, and there are tons of cable channels. Would definitely stay again.
