"A very charming small hotel. The hotel was an old olive oil producing village that fell into ruin. Each of the rooms has been renovated from small workers cottages to a charming standard. It is such a lovely, quiet spot away from the hustle and bustle. The pool is idyllic, the only criticism would be that I think it should be adults only. The ambience was somewhat spoilt when there was a couple with a baby who was crying by the pool and had the parents speak baby talk which ruined the quiet setting, the hotel is much better suited as an adults only due to its quiet nature. Food was excellent, breakfast choice is vast and evening meals were always excellent albeit on the pricier side, but we ate there every night. The hotel is a bit isolated away from the main tourist areas but that suited us down to the ground to be somewhere quiet. We would return. "

The villa itself has all the amenities one would require, and the inside is is fabulous condition. "One of the loveliest hotels we've stayed in on Crete, and excellent value. Our room had a breathtaking seaview and we'd return just for this alone. But the host, Harris, was also very friendly and attentive, telling us how to navigate down to the beach and town. Air conditioning worked like a dream and the bed was comfy. All in all a brilliant experience, and as we are frequent visitors to Crete we will be back. "
