"What a wonderful vacation we had. The view from our house was amazing! Carlos was the caretaker of the house and lives on property, he took care of everything for us. He even went to the store for us when we needed more alcohol for us 6 adults lol! Carlita, Carlos’s sister, cooked us meals, but we usually just had breakfast and dinner, if that, since we would go out on excursions during the day. Great private excursions through No Worries Tours who came to the house and got everything set up. We did the Mayan ruins, cave tubing, and snorkeling at the reef. All great! We also went to Secret beach one day, which was fun. X’tan Ha has a cool little bar out on the pier, highly recommend. San Pedro town is quite a distance when you are on a golf cart on bumpy roads, so we did rent a van to take us back to the airport since we had to be there at 6:15 in the morning. Carlos set it up for us with no issues. The refrigerator did break down, 1/2 way through our trip, which was a bummer cause the cooler didn’t keep our beer or leftovers cold. Sadly we didn’t have a working frig until the night before we were leaving. However the next renter will have a brand new frig. Overall, we had a great time at Escape Away. 💗 "

"Beautiful, clean and quiet! Went for 20 year anniversary and it was perfect. The only thing that my wife and I had any complaint about is the drive to get there in the golf cart, but after getting used to it we considered it a daily adventure "

"Kevin & Nova’s Cabanas are such a unique and amazing experience and secret beach in Belize. We booked the two beach front cabanas for a week and it was like we had a private home in Belize plus gourmet breakfast! Highly recommend if you like flexibility and privacy/b&b. "

"The only problem is the music from the pool is too loud had to call them to complain but it still goes until 2 am."

"From the moment we got to the house we were taken care of. Adam met us outside to help us get all settled in. The home was beautiful and came equipped with everything our family of 6 needed for our vacation. Everything was beautiful from the inside-out. We enjoyed the pool, the dock, and the absolute beautiful views from inside and outside the home. Helen and Adam made sure the home stayed clean, the beach was raked, and pool cleaned every morning. The food Helen prepared for us was some of the best food we ever ate. Adam set us up fishing poles to fish off of the pier. I highly recommend to anyone who wants a perfect and stress free vacation for your family and kids. "

"This house was perfect for our family vacation. Great layout and we loved the location. The best part was Tatiana who cooked for us while we were there. Everything she made was amazing. Brittany the host was also incredible. Always got right back to us with any questions we had and went to the trouble to have a pack and play for our 20 month old granddaughter."

"We enjoyed our time at the property and I personally would live there at the property. :-) The only things that drove me crazy was the grime and rust around the sink and all the mosquitos in the area. Couldn't enjoy the pool because the bugs kept on biting. You are literally attacked by them as soon as you walk out the door. Couldn't swim at the beach because of the seaweed, but there were people attempting to clean it up but you cant control the sea. Also, the location of the property is located in Mexico Rock and about 45 minutes - 1 hour on a golf cart from the water taxi in san Pedro and depending on the weather conditions. Please take that into account when going. Secret beach is about 20-30 minutes by golf cart. Please purchase food in town before coming in as there are no markets and very limited food options in the area. Overall, I would recommend if you want something quiet, secluded, and away from the hustle of the city. "
