"We arrived late and were there for one night. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and a decent size and comfortable. Breakfast is included with the price and serving staff was very friendly. We missed the breakfast but staff was kind of enough to give us tea and water upon request. The area was nice. "Cogne is simply beautiful. Small enough to be charming, big enough to stay busy and entertained. The Chateau Royal was a great home base. Centrally located, comfortable and we'll equipped. We originally booked two nights but added two more as it was such a great village with so much to do. We hiked, fished, rafted and paraglided plus catching some of the abundant castles and forts in the Sister Valley). This one is a do-over (we'll be back:-)."

We were looking with our kids at their cows in the pasture, and the owner(?) came out and gave our kids food to feed the cows. It was a great start, and it only got better from there.
