We fell in love with the incredible medieval town of Sarlat, and La Villa des Consuls was amazing!
Loved it! It was my favorite village that we visited in France.
The lack of AC required open windows and mosquitoes. Fortunately, we missed the heat wave because I’m not sure even an open window would have helped.
Wonderful and beautiful town. Full of good energy, lively with many street artists. All restaurants are good.
Unique medieval town, good restaurants, peaceful and beautiful walk in the old town
We loved it. Our family stayed 3 nights, but wished it would have been 4 since we drove 4 hours to Sarlat. Our favorites were kayaking down the Dordogne River and the Grotte Font de Gaume, but the town is absolutely gorgeous and interesting too.
