While it’s in need of some modernisation - kitchen, air conditioning in every room - there are many outdoor spaces for conversation, games, reading and siestas. Take care when booking that you specify how many guests you’ll be as this caused some confusion. But overall, we were very happy and we and our guests had a wonderful time. "

There is no supermarket so you need a car to do the shopping. The old center of Portese was very beautiful and had nice wine bar. One evening there was a very nice market in Portese with barbecue. In the harbor there were nice restaurants. There is a nice beach with chairs, umbrellas, boats to hire and a good restaurant on walking distance, about 30...

"The villa is set out of town with no taxi services. The local area is limited with things to do. Good bud service to Salo and other places near by and less than €5. Car essential. Villa is clean and basic."

"It's a very nice house we enjoyed it a lot, the only thing it was very much noise because someone was building a house beside us, asked for a discount because during the day we could not sit outside that was very pitty, the owner has not given any reaction, I think this is not the way how its working. "We spent one week at the Villa which we had chosen because of location, tranquillity and accessibility for touring lake Garda - we loved the spectacular views and swimming pool as well as plenty of space for our family. We felt the property could benefit from better ventilation for humidity on the lower floors and with the extreme hot weather, some air cooling or at least cooler fans to make the stay more pleasant. Celeste was prompt in her responses when we needed to reach out. "
