i LIKED THE WARM POOL AND THE RESTAURANT. NEAT TO BE ON THE MARINA. DIDN'T LIKE PAYING FOR bREAKFAST AND ONE MORNING I ONLY HAD $11.00 AND DESK DIDN'T HAVE 30 CENTS CHANGE REALLY. GETTING A SMALL SAMPLE BOTTLE OF SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER REALLY AND HAVING TO PAY $1.00 FOR OTHERS WAS OUTRAGEOUS. ALL MY OTHER HOTELS HAVE DOVE ATTACHED TO WALL-MAYBE YOU SHOULD LOOK INTO DOING THAT. CLOSENESS TO POOL AND FIRST FLOOR WAS SO NICE. HAVING A RESTAURANT THERE ALSO GREAT. IF I STAY AGAIN I'LL BRING MY OWN SHAMPOO FROM HOME TO SAVE MONEY.

If your looking for decent budget travel this is absolutely the place. Nice casual relaxed atmosphere, I would actively look to stay there again. I have it saved in my favorites!

Beautiful stay
We enjoyed our first time in Sarasota and chose a great location. This room was very clean and comfortable...especially the bed. The pool was a bit crowded with kids but what can you expect. It was very thrilling to see airplanes so close above as they land at the airport just down the street. Would definately stay there again.

This room is absolutely fine. Nothing special, but it’s clean and adequately equipped. The view from the room is super. The pool at the hotel is really nice and the tiki bar serves good food.

Decent with a great tiki bar
I stayed here by myself for a week while my daughter stayed with her team for a soccer tournament. The reviews are accurate, no drainage in the shower (maintenance responded and fixed temporarily), very loud planes overhead, moldy bathroom tiles, bad shower head, however, the good things were proximity to Sarasota airport and beaches, price, and a great tiki bar with great food on site. The pool is nice and the marina is pretty. I would bring ear plugs (for bedtime) and plan to spend most of my time outside during your stay but overall decent room for decent price.

No hot water in shower Shower drain plugged Cockroach seen in room Wiped down surfaces with disenfecting cloths which were filthy by the time we was done. No stopper in sink.. Nice fridge freezer. Nice yard and plenty of chairs to sit in along the marina. I enjoyed watching the aircraft coming in.

Secret lil hide away❤️
The unit is in Desperate need of some small repairs and new bedding. Shower drain clog’s, towel rack falls down, dresser drawers are broken but we love this place anyways. Price can’t be beat!

The unit is a renovated small motel room, one of approximately 50-75(?) in a former wing of the adjacent Ramada Inn. Owner had good intentions but poor taste. Furniture is too large, making it seem even smaller. Lots of rules, few amenities. There is a very good Tiki bar/restaurant next door and a nice, large, very cold unheated pool. Nice wharf ambiance.

This is a room in a motel. Space was adequate and the bed was fine. We asked for a 3:00 pm arrival but arrived late at 4:30 and the room had not yet been cleaned. We watched, exhausted, as staff cleaned the room. They couldn't erase the shower condition (door doesn't open) and the moldy smell (no fan).

Comfy, Classic Sarasota Stay
Fantastic location with waterfront views right out the front door. Check-in could not have been easier. Was a little concerned about reading a previous review, but whatever issue that person had, it was clearly resolved. Clean, comfortable bed with wonderfully classically style furniture. Hotel amenities with tiki bar & restaurant are extremely convenient. Property manager Todd made a special point to visit us and make sure he would address any concerns we may have to our satisfaction. He could not have more accommodating. The only negative part of the trip is that we had to check out early because my wife caught a severe sold.

Sara Bay Marina
Central location overlooking the marina, excellent restaurant, outstanding restaurant staff. Older building undergoing remodel, noisy at times. Couple of palmetto bugs got inside, seemed to happen when construction was happening. Older furnishings but functional. Door lock was very finicky, had to swipe card several times to gain entry. Boat rental place never called us back. Property is in airport's flight path, so be ready for low flying jets. Local bar crowd made it fun.
