Lack of Commnication & beware of cameras
During our stay there was a flash flood, The water completely flooded the pool. While the flood is completely out of anyone's control, how it was handled afterwards was! The next morning the water was gone so, we reached out to see when they could have the pool cleaned so it could be usable due to the amount of debris in the pool. That text went completely IGNORED. The next morning, we contacted the 800# and did not receive a call back until 4:40PM. They said someone would be out the clean the pool the following day - WHICH WAS THE NORMAL CLEANING DAY. The next day NOONE STILL SHOWED! We had 3 full days out of 6 full days with NO POOL. The morning we left I reached out via email to see about a partial refund. I did not think it was fair to pay full price when the main amenity was not usable for half the days. It took 10 DAYS and many follow ups from me for them to offer anything and it was a slap in the face! I was given $113 back out of a $4147 bill for loss of the main amenity of the home.
The listing does not mention cameras but beware there are cameras. I kind of expected the doorbell one, but there is one in the pool area too! It is not directly facing the pool but I am sure it can see some activity- plus I am sure they can hear everything. I think there is a level of privacy that is invaded there for sure! makes one question if there were other cameras.
The master bedroom sheets were clean but stained and dingy.
The rest of the home/stay was as expected.
