Wonderful accommodation
The Carriage House was impressively clean and orderly, and centrally located near so many Sarasota sites. It's walking distance to the farmers market, SelbyBotanic Garden, the Main Street with many restaurants and shops, as well as near the waterfront and general downtwon area. It has a wonderful host who provided very helpful information and was quick to respond to questions. Highly recommended.

Owner was very responsive, from answering a question prior to finalizing booking to resolving a minor issue connecting to the internet. We were only there one night, but could easily see making this a base for a longer stay.

A Hidden Gem in Sarasota
My husband and I stayed at The Carriage House four nights, What a lovely place and perfect location! Stephanie & Mike were great hosts and accommodated us in every way.We easily walked to town and took advantage of the restaurant recommendations they offered. We especially enjoyed Owen's Fish Camp--- don't miss out on a great meal and experience! . Carriage House was a 10. My husband and I would not hesitate to rent again!

Lovey space and owners.
It was a beautiful, private space. The location close to so much. The owner communication was great-very comprehensive and always very timely. I loved that the room included a book with lots of information and suggestions. The Amenities were amazing - bicycles with locks, kayaks with a cart and instructions, cold drinks, washer/dryer, etc. My only frustration was that the listing did not mention more clearly that it was on the second floor.

Lovely Property
The host was very accommodating and communicative. Located very close to downtown, an easy walk there or to Selby Gardens. Quiet neighborhood. Very well stocked. Easy departure rules. It even has a combo washer/dryer. We highly recommend this property.

Great neighborhood. Lovely host! Communication quick. The unit was clean, cute and had ample space for the two of us. It felt very cozy and comfortable. I always appreciate when the owner leaves some personal touches with some water, snacks, etc. To me, it shows they care.

Great location
Extremely clean with many wonderful amenities. Kayaks, bikes, towels, beach chairs and more in a perfect location. Laurel Park is beautiful and very walkable. Stephanie answered all questions and requests promptly. I had some internet connection problems at the beginning but Stephanie sorted it out quickly.

Quaint, Quiet, Convenient & Comfortable
Relax and unwind these hosts have everything covered. From small details like coffee machine, snacks, drinks to out of the way perks; bicycles, kyaks, etc. The guest book alone (about 3” thick) will send the message that you are staying in good hands with super hosts! Overall one of my best VRBO experiences ever. Special place and very sweet hosts that care. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Ultimate Host in a Perfect Location
Our stay was planned rather quickly and so we were so pleased upon arriving at the Carriage House. The host met us on arrival, offered to help with luggage and reminded us of use of her phone contact should there be any need. The size of the unit and amenities perfectly met our needs. The location was perfect for us, and the ability to come back to such a quiet and comfortable suite was a great treat. Would definitely choose this site again .... and probably stay even longer! So much to see and do!

I wish I could have stayed longer. The carriage house is private, super clean and is appointed with everything you could need. Very comfortable. A 10 minute walk to main street. The owner is next door and made herself available for any questions or needs that I might have. She is wonderful. You will not be disappointed. It is important to note that there are stairs to get to the room, if that is a problem for you.

Quant but misleading quite a lot
On the plus side, bed was comfortable, place was very clean, and the snacks were a nice touch. Nothing is stated that it is above a garage with many stairs, so just be aware with your packing weight. The "About this rental" is very inaccurate and quite misleading. It's states 1 bedroom and in reality this is a studio w/ kitchen cubby use only. There is no separate room for the bed, it's studio. The "2 Beds" is the couch which would have to be moved against the bed in order to fit. I was going to have a friend stay with me but upon arrival I quickly realized it would have been inappropriate and incredibly awkward. The microwave would not function and gave F4 error every time you attempted to use it. No kettle and "Stove", uh no. Please don't expect most people to understand that a "Waring Pro Series" is not an actual stove top, but a portable burner, which makes cooking an actual meal about impossible in this space. 1 ply toilet paper, really? States Wifi 100+ Mbps, I only received 10-12 Mbps... the entire time. So much potential and so inaccurate that if my wife was with me she would have demanded a refund and find alternative accomodations.
