Worst stay ever!! The room was full of German cockroaches and they wouldn't move me or cancel the reservation. I had to sleep with the lights on for 4 nights. Room smelled of water and mold. Locals over ran the place with parties. I'll never use Expedia again for booking a hotel. Absolutely horrible!!!

I booked the hotel 2 months in advance and said that I was coming with my mother, who is disabled and needs special accommodation. We were offered a room on the third floor, but the elevator was out of order because of the hurricane. The room on the first floor was terrible: dirty and smelly. So we lived on the third floor all the time, but my mother couldn’t leave the room because she had to go up and down the stairs every time. We asked to be moved to at least the 2nd floor, but we couldn’t get it. The mattresses were very old and dirty. I wouldn’t recommend staying there. It’s also not cheap.

This was the worst hotel we ever stayed in. The elevator had been out of service for weeks, plugs in room didn’t work well, the couch was torn up and frayed, wallpaper in halls was falling off, the breakfast was horrible. We made a huge mistake by staying there

Room was in “OK” condition hotel was not, needs lots of TLC. Staff was “friendly” but definitely were under staffed. Breakfast was ok.

This was my second stay at this property, and it was even worse. I only chose this place because is literally across the street from my daughters college. This time around the elevator wasn’t working during the entire weekend (it wasn’t fixed at all) the hallways were a mess, and the rooms were worse! The staff was friendly and did the best they could to accommodate us. But again, the hotel definitely needs lots of work… you would think it will be in better shape!

Nothing like any other La Quinta I have ever stayed in. Wallpaper coming off the walls. 2 exits leading to outside closed off for use. Dogs barking across the hall from my room. Coffee in breakfast area cold. Was scheduled for 4 nights but stayed one then got the hell outta this place but was still charged 4 nights pet deposit. As I was loading up my car I noticed a pretty rough looking guy digging thru the dumpster. Very subpar area and room.
