A beautiful vacation spot
The unit offered a beautifully furnished home. The area was pristine. A quiet place a few miles outside of Cashiers complete with fishing pond. Nearby tennis and golf. Even met the neighbors.

Great Condo! Fun times!
We had a great time in the Sapphire, NC, area at this condo. The location is great and the condo is cute with great amenities. We hiked, saw waterfalls, ate at some good restaurants and listened to music over the Bluetooth. We just de-stressed over our weekend stay there! The owner was very responsive and welcoming. The mountains are beautiful! We will be back!

Beautifully decorated for the holidays!
My family of 4 enjoyed the great taste and attention to detail in the condo.
It was a great layout for us to have our private time and the kids to have theirs. The kitchen had all the tools for a great Christmas breakfast and the porch bar while we did not use were an extra plus! We will be back! Thanks for sharing your slice of heaven with our family.
The property needs significant homeowner maintenance. (1)The kitchen had a serious water leak a long time ago and it seems the ceiling will fall down, yet the owner has not taken responsibility to repair the ceiling. (2) There was another apparent water leak along the wall, near the washing machine leaving mold growing on the wall (3) the carpet and furnishings appear to original from the 1970's (4) ants were active in the downstairs bathroom
I arrived in Sapphire in the late evening of July 7th. It was pitch black in the woods and there was very little lighting in the area. The GPS was inaccurate and directed me to a spot where there were no condos. After searching awhile for the correct building and stll being unable to find it, I tried to contact the owner, but there is no cell phone service in this area of Sapphire.
Since it was close to midnight, I went to the Hampton Inn and stayed there for the week.
The owner agreed to move my reservation to the following week. However, I was reassigned by my company and would no longer be in the area.
On July14th, the owner agreed to provide a full refund once he received the funds from VRBO.
I sent followup messages to the owner requesting a status of the refund on July 22nd, July 29th, and August 5th.
As of August 7th, the owner has not replied to any of these messages.
I had such a great communication with the owner, and the condo is really great. However, he had informed me that the amenities of the resort were available to us. It turns out that the resort was unable to extend those amenities to guests at this condo, and communication with the owner upon learning this completely stopped. We were very disappointed with the lack of use of the resort amenities, but the greater disappointment probably came with the crickets upon learning this. We enjoyed the condo, but this was a deal breaker for returning. Just felt duped.
Our stay here was outstanding. The community is very conveniently located between many beautiful sites and charming towns. The condo itself was comfortable, clean and well equipped and he owners could not have been nicer and more accommodating. I recommend staying here for a quiet and relaxing vacation.
The condo may have been in one of the best condos in the neighborhood. It is an end unit with 2 different screened balconies and 1 open balcony. The views were unobstructed or of nature. We had a good amount of sun, which was perfect on our cold visit--we visited in early March. The condo had everything we needed. Our dogs loved the open balcony. They were happy to be able to come along on our trip this time around. Since the condo was an end unit, walking them on their potty breaks was easier/quicker.
We hoped to ski at the resort, but wasn't open until the weekend. So, we went hiking at nearby trails, with the doggies, of course. The town was small and quaint. Cashiers was about 10 minutes away, if you wanted options. We found a bbq place nearby--a must! Thanks for offering your home to us and our furry kiddos.
Wonderful stay and nice condo in the heart of Sapphire Valley. Very close to the Highlands and the Gorges State Park. Pisgah is not too far out as well.
Place is clean and the beds are very comfortable. Love the fireplace as well. The host keep the condo well stocked. Will return.
The property is perfectly situated at the very end of the building for privacy. The surroundings are gorgeous, and the condo is fully outfitted and modern. The stovetop was broken, but we didn’t have anything to cook on the stove anyway. The air/heat works great, especially in the master bedroom, so the fireplace isn’t necessary, but does provide lovely atmosphere when you have a fire roaring. The screened in porches are amazing places to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or a cocktail at dusk. Overall the complaints are minimal, and I would very much consider staying here again.
Stayed here with family for Fourth of July. Enjoyed fireworks on Lake Glenville and boat ride on Lake Jocassee. Easy access to both. Comfortable and nice. Great accommodations!
