Affectionately nicknamed Bear Creek Cabin, you'll find an idyllic Blue Ridge Mountain retreat at this home. A private backyard dock makes it easy to spend sunny days exploring the lake. Gather on the back deck and take in the wooded views. Beneath the carport, relax on a comfy bench while burgers sizzle on the gas grill. Roast marshmallows over the backyard firepit on starry nights. This cabin is surrounded by outdoor adventure.

Natural light pours into the main living area. A variety of plush seating provides space to chat or relax with a book. Light the wood-burning fireplace with stone surround to fill the room with crackling warmth. The second living area has a 46" TV, a large leather sectional, and a gas fireplace. The well-equipped kitchen has all the gadgets and cookware you'll need to whip up hearty mountain meals. Another highlight is a fully loaded game room with foosball, air hockey, and Ping-Pong.

Find quiet privacy in the primary bedroom, furnished with a 60" TV, or step out onto the deck to enjoy the fresh mountain air. The en suite bathroom boasts a double vanity.

Amenities include complimentary WiFi and a washer/dryer.

Great Trip with friends
We enjoy hiking, and this was the perfect place to stay. Many trails within easy access (driving). Very pleased with the location, the driveway is a little steep, but AWD and 4WD had no issues

Such a treat!
We had a wonderful stay at Bear Creek Cabin. The home was clean and the surroundings were amazing! Quick trip to Cashiers/Highlands, but really no need to leave such a sweet retreat!

Good vibes!
Our family loves Bear Creek Cabin! We have such a great time and make new memories with each visit. We love the rustic and cozy vibe that the home offers. The scenery surrounding the place is so beautiful. We enjoyed morning coffee outside by the fire, and had a special sighting of a deer family this visit. It’s always very clean and inviting. Looking forward to our next getaway here!

Bear Cabin
We saw several deer and a family of 3 black bears while there. Lots of room in home. Very rustic decor. Furniture could be updated.

Five Stars!
This place is a treasure, our family will be back! The surroundings and view of the water are beautiful. The house was very clean and welcoming. It is also very comfortable and cozy! We did not want to leave! There are so many things to do in the area. The house is close to Cashiers, Highland, and many beautiful hikes. The owners were very attentive and wanting to make sure our stay was perfect. Five stars for Bear Creak Cabin!

Rustic, outdated you get what you pay for.
Loved the fire pit outside the carport, and the private path down to a little dock, quiet and pretty nature view from the porch. Nice big indoor dining table for two families, and that it offered pet friendly amenities. Game room for kids was nice. Central air was nice to have with fans in each room, however loud and in need of updating. Beds were extremely outdated and uncomfortable with stains and stained linens. The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals, but DATED and not the cleanest with knobs falling off cabinets and sticky shelves, fridge functional but leaking. Would consider another property given the fees for how and cleaning and the state of the cleanliness we found this rental in. Good if you don’t care about cleanliness.

Charismatic Lake House
This cabin is a gem with so much character, and surrounded by an abundance of nature. It had everything we needed and more; so much space, very clean, well stocked kitchen, and lots of great amenities. Think: quintessential lake house to make lasting memories! The kids loved the adventure of going down the short wooded path to the waterfront and getting to paddle right from our own dock. The kid kayaks were such a nice surprise. The lake itself is very peaceful as well, and the few people we saw were incredibly friendly. The grocery store is a short drive away, as well as other shops and restaurants. We took an afternoon trip to Silver Run Falls (about 20 min away). If you can get yourself to leave the house, I highly recommend going; it’s perfect for adults & kids. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Great stay for the 4th!
We wanted to escape some of the heat for the 4th. The actual day of the 4th was busy but fun down by the pool and clubhouse. I wish I could have found the schedule of events more easily ahead of time. The cabin was very nice. Comfortable. The twin beds in one room were a little uncomfortable for an adult but the kids didn’t mind them being a little hard. The kitchen was well equipped lots of room to sit and eat as well. The living room upstairs could have had more comfortable furniture as well as the porch. Overall and was a great stay. Would be happy to go back anytime. The communication to get in and check out was super easy and we were offered an early check in and a late check out if needed. I know we wot always be that lucky but everything was very well communicated.

We had a great few days enjoying this house. Very quiet area but close enough to many local restaurants and easy hikes/waterfalls. The canoes and kid kayaks were a hit for us! There was a little confusion getting the amenity passes at Sapphire Valley Resort but the owners fixed it quickly and we were also able to enjoy that added perk! Overall would recommend this to any family looking for a comfortable mountain getaway!

Relaxation on the Lake
We can’t get enough of this place. We love the outdoors and this property is perfect for our active family. The giant covered deck, where you can grill and eat meals, to the bonfire pit for s’mores and shenanigans by the fire, to my very most favorite activity of listening to nature with a cup of coffee down on the dock in the morning this place fits the bill. You can’t help but feel that life is good here! oh, I almost forgot the amenities are amazing a total bonus!
