Beautiful Cabin, Club Access, Fiber Optic, Pond! 15% discount for August 2024

Authentic Log Cabin with 20 ft. Ceilings. It has 4 bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths and is very bright and airy! The main floor is an open concept plan with the Master Bedroom. The living room has a gas stone fireplace with 3 double french doors opening onto the wrap around deck! All furnishings are new, including the 65" SMART flat screen TV. The upper floor has 2 bedrooms, one with a Double bed, the other with a Queen. There is a full Bath in between the Bedrooms. The downstairs contains one Bedroom with 2 Twin Hickory Beds and a Bonus room with a large flatscreen TV. The house is surrounded by 2 levels of Decking to take in the great mountain views! The Cabin has fast FIBER OPTIC WIFI and all Club Amenities are available for your use! Whisper Lake is 1/2 mile from the Cabin where you can fish, swim or just watch the sunset over the Lake!
The Cashiers area has many things to do! Great restaurants, golf, tennis, shopping, hiking, boating, and plenty of other activities are just minutes away from our property! Please call me for any information pertaining to the area or Cabin.

Comfortable, cozy cabin
The best part about this house was the openness of the kitchen, family room, and dining room table. It’s an extremely cozy mountain cabin just as you would imagine it to be. Huge TV allowed us to watch movies since it rained a lot during our visit. Kitchen had everything you needed. Our family was very comfortable here.

Beautiful inside and out!
We visited with our entire family, children (and adult children) ages 11-21. The porches overlooked such a lovely, serene view. The cabin is easy to access. The host was accessible by phone for questions, even on a holiday. Everything was clean and functional. The younger kids enjoyed the downstairs and everyone enjoyed movies and football on the large screen in the den. We cooked a lot, but also enjoyed meals in nearby Cashiers. The girls and I hiked and enjoyed some horseback riding. The boys biked in Panthertown. We hated to leave!

A month in the NC Mountains
We enjoyed our month in the Cabin. The area temps were consistently in the 70's, very different than Florida where we live. Unfortunately in August, we experienced daily rain so we were not able to play as much golf as expected. The Cabin is very comfortable and the wraparound porch is the perfect place for morning coffee or afternoon wine. The WIFI was strong and we were able to stay connected and do a little work. Be aware the master bed is rather high. Step stools are provided but for some this could be a challenge. Jon was incredibly responsive and checked on us to make sure all was well. The area surrounding the Cabin is perfect for walks with some elevation change to make it challenging. Restaurants in the area are fabulous. Loved the walk around Fairfield Lake and Rainbow and Turtleback Falls. Access to the community center with gym equipment was terrific. We recommend the Cabin. Thank you Jon for the opportunity to stay in the area for the first time.

Beautiful Cabin in the woods!
My husband and I and our three adult sons had a wonderful two week stay in this lovely cabin. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck enjoying coffee in the morning and beverages in the afternoon. Great location for fantastic hikes and good restaurants that are close by. Jon Reibel was a great host and extremely responsive to our needs. One of the best parts of the cabin is the ability to connect to the internet as two of my sons had to work remote from the cabin. Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful stay - Beautiful cabin
My husband and I met our son and family from Charlotte at this beautiful mountain cabin and enjoyed every minute. Loved having all the amenities-especially when it rained two days. Jon was very responsive to our every needs. None of us had been in this area before and we enjoyed the waterfalls and hikes and visiting Highlands and Cashiers. Would highly recommend this cabin for a fun stay in the mountains.

Beautiful cabin and view!
This cabin was absolutely perfect for our 3 families. We loved the view from the porch, that there were plenty of bathrooms, and that the bedrooms had fans. The kids loved the game room and playing ping pong and the short walk to Whisper Lake. Everything was exceptional! Jon was extremely friendly and helpful and we had such a great time that we are thinking about booking again in the Summer. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful cabin.

The property and communication with Jon (owner) was excellent! Kitchen is very well stocked! Beds were very comfortable and rooms were large. Plan to bring extra paper towels, kitchen paper towels and toilet paper as you only are given 1 of each.

This was a beautiful property in a great location. Jon was quick to respond to text messages and an attentive host. After a day of outdoor activities, my sons loved playing table tennis in the basement and we all loved sitting on the back to enjoy the stunning views. Overall a great vacation! Highly recommend!

The cabin is beautiful with great amenities. The living room floods with natural light and the deck on 3 sides with comfortable chairs is a great place to relax. We also took advantage of Jon’s canoe at Whisper Lake.

Relaxing Getaway
We had a wonderful stay at Jon's cabin in the woods. The home is light and airy and was plenty of space for my family and another family of 4 that was vacationing with us. The upper back deck is the perfect location to relex with a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night. The house is nestled in the trees and the back deck almost has a treehouse feel, with a fantastic view! We didnt use the lower level of the home at all because our children are all under 10 years old and none of them felt comfortable sleeping down there and away from the adults. This is of no fault of the owner though and i already anticipated this so we brought an air mattress and set it up in the living room near the fireplace. The house is conveniently located near Cashiers and all the plentiful area attractions. We went down to the neighbirhood lake one day and the kids loved splashing around while the parents relaxed on a bench and enjoyed the view. Jon, the owner, is very helpful and responsive when we contacted him. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Fantastic Vacation Home
We had such a wonderful time in this beautiful home! This immaculate home had everything we needed and more! We spent a lot of time out on the decks enjoying the gorgeous views (especially at sunset!) and taking in all of the quiet and peacefulness that this home brings. Jon, the owner, is so kind and told us about some amazing hikes to do and great restaurants close by. We finished every night with a family ping pong tournament! The only thing I can say that would have made our trip better is if we could have stayed longer! Thank you Jon! We will be back!

Great Week in the Mountains
We had a wonderful week in Jon’s cabin. It was perfect for our group of 8. We cooked all meals due to COVID and was very impressed by the kitchen amenities. I would highly recommend this cabin for anyone visiting the Highlands region.
