"My wife and I just returned from a week-long stay at the Mazzaro sea Palace. We were captivated by everything about the resort, but most notably the superior quality of the staff. "We stayed in an apartment that I think isn't apart of the main hotel. It is off-season so the main hotel was closed. The view is incredible and makes you feel like you never want to leave. It felt like staying at an apartment more than a hotel since there isn't concierge or anything like that. I would recommend for anyone to say here as you can't beat the location. "

"This was our best stay in a 3-week Sicily trip. On arrival we were greeted by Nino who checked us into a very nice room(it actually had a chandelier). Later we met Martina and she chatted with us and provided great suggestions over the 2-3 days we were there. And then Marta made us all kinds of drinks in the evening. The villa is gorgeous and the breakfast was amazing (including made to order eggs). I recommend this place heartily."

"A nice resort hotel set on the beach. Our room was clean and tidy and although the bathroom was on the smaller side it was perfectly fine for the two of us. The breakfast was great with plenty of options and the staff were all friendly"

"The hotel is about 20 minutes up a very steep and winding road above Taorimina so it's not convenient to go back and forth. The decor is dated, but the hotel has an old world charm and the setting is beautiful. The back of the hotel looks at Mount Etna and the wonderful pool faces it too. The breakfast was nice and had typical Sicilian pastries. They could update the decorations in the rooms and lobby."

"This hotel is right on the sea so I would recommend taking a sea view room. They have big suits that are very spacious. We took the best room comprised of a large bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, living room, and media room. All of those were a decent size so it felt like living in your apartment. "A fabulous stay. From checking into the hotel, the front seat staff was hospitable, accommodating and helpful. The staff took time to discuss many questions and concerns only for us to lean that he shift was ending and she treated us as if we were the only people. He king in! "Staying at Villa Pulejo is a unique experience in like staying in a historical masterpiece. The facilities were modernized but you can still visualize the grandeur this mansion was built for. Walking around the grounds we found treasures like the centuries old magnolia trees, meticulously kept garden and the original horse stable. Staff went above and beyond without smothering you. Fruits came from groves on property. We will cherish memories made during our 9 days stay. "

"The room itself was okay, if very bare, and there was no information about anything. Although there was a fridge for our use (and some bottled water provided) there was no kettle and no access to the kitchen until breakfast time the next day, so we couldn't make tea. We were admitted to the building when we arrived, but not welcomed. Reception desk was unstaffed, nobody around to greet us or give us any information. The building looked quite neglected. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good."
