Nightmare in Sapanca
What a nightmare... we arrive at 8pm to the entrance of the villa complex. The security guard says we don't have a booking or reservation even though it's been confirmed via hotels.com. After making a phone call the property manager tells him to take us to Villa no4. We arrive and walk inside to find it in dust and unhygienic state. The inside of the villas are freezing cold so they try to start up the heating system but with no success. The gas oven and hot water system is also not working. We are tired as it is now 9pm and we have come from a long drive so we really just want to sleep. If it wasn't late I would of left the property and never looked behind. Anyway they tell us that they will give us villa no3 instead. We have no option but to accept. The villa is also very dirty, water is leaking in the toilet, the cutlery has food particulars left on them. They eventually get the heating system working but having said that the rooms are still cold. The blankets don't have linen on them and there are no towels as stated on the room inclusions. Worst of all we notice that the beds are infested with bugs. It literally became a nightmare for me, my wife and 3 kids. We were counting the hours to get out of there. The owner was unapologetic and they did not want to compensate us. I eventually sorted this out with hotels.com and did not pay for our nightmare experience.
