The Nacional is the new hotel in Rio Preto after their renovation they offer breakfast, lunch and dinner they are in a location that makes many things of the city accessible by Uber and near two of the cities shopping locations. The pool is an added touch. Any Business would enjoy having an event there.

The hotel is a pretty good bargain, but there are trade-offs. Breakfast is free, but essentially the same every day and with inconsistent quality. For example, some days there were lots of shell in the scrambled eggs. The location is inconvenient if you're looking for familiar places like Starbucks, Burger King, Taco Bell, but there is a nice lagoon park not too far away with a good walking/running trail and snack food stands. I was actually impressed with the shower - it had consistent and adjustable water temperature and pressure with good isolation and containment of the water and steam. Probably my biggest complaint was with the unreliable WiFi. I stayed for several days, but the WiFi passwords they gave me kept expiring after a day or so and then I would have to ask for a new one. It would stop working without any warning and once I was in the middle of a zoom meeting when it cut me off. They really need to improve how they manage WiFi access so guests have access for their entire stay without having to get new passwords all the time.

You can’t go wrong by choosing this property for your stay. My stay cost me about $50 per night, a real bargain for what you get in return, Strategic and convenient located 10 minutes drive from the airport or to downtown area, near major hospitals and some restaurants, The property is safe, clean and well kept the sauna is currently going under renovation but I am positive it will be amazing when is done, large swimming pool. The colonial style BREAKFAST is served daily from 6:00 to 10:00 AM and is made with fresh ingredients too many items to list. The shower water pressure is amazing strong and extremely hot for a great relaxation after a long flight or a busy day of work. I definitely will choose to stay in this property on my next visit to São José do Rio Preto and strongly recommend for anyone that are very particular when comes to a great deal for your buck and looking for comfort away from home.

This property is finishing a long 4 month renovation and they are working out the bugs so to speak, me and and my wife just completed a weekend stay and the phone system in the rooms did not work which meant you had to go all the way to reception to make a request. This is a good hotel on it’s way to being a great hotel.

Tivemos uma experiência bem ruim no check-in. Chegamos cedo da manhã, após passar a madrugada viajando, e pretendíamos fazer o check-in antecipado, mediante pagamento da taxa que fosse necessária. Aguardamos normalmente na fila pelo atendimento do recepcionista, e muito embora meu pai seja idoso e deficiente físico, quando chegou a nossa vez de ser atendido, o funcionário ao ouvir que era check-in recusou o atendimento, não quis nem saber código de reserva/nome, e falou que não poderia nos atender, pois a REGRA DO HOTEL era atender aos hóspedes de check-out. Eu insisti, falando que ficamos aguardando na fila a nossa vez como todos os demais, que a prioridade por lei é do idoso e deficiente, e o funcionário me disse que eu estava ciente no meu voucher que o check-in era às 14h. Eu falei justamente que queríamos pagar a taxa que fosse necessária por esse serviço, mas que só queríamos poder entrar no quarto mais cedo, não estava tentando nos beneficiar ou receber um "favor" do hotel de fazer check-in antecipado de graça. Mesmo assim o funcionário foi intransigente, nos fez sair do balcão, e tivemos que aguardar nas poltronas por pelo menos mais 20min, até que o funcionário nos chamou dizendo que finalmente poderia nos atender. Pagamos a meia diária cobrada para entrar antecipadamente, e tudo se resolveu. Esse processo todo levou quase 1 hora. E eu nunca tinha visto um hotel RECUSAR atendimento ao cliente que chega mais cedo (ainda um idoso e PcD), disposto a pagar por isso.
