"The location is fabulous! "

"Staff were really helpful especially Pio from the breakfast area. The property was under renovation during the time that we were there so there’s some hint of construction dust when we checked in our room. Housekeeping was helpful in making it go away. The rooms were really nice and comfortable. It’s very modern and the washroom was squeaky clean. 10 min walk from Padre Pio Shrine. Access to it is right across the hotel. Highly recommended"

"Our stay was excellent. The rooms are very big and spacious. They have mini fridge. Room amenities are provided. Daily cleaning is done. The Staff are very helpful. The breakfast is nice. The only drawback is the shower in our room was so tiny that there was hardly any space to move hands. It would be difficult for a huge person to get in and have bath comfortably. I myself kept banging my arms. I would say if they would have planned the room perfectly there was enough space for bath . For this I would say one star less or I would have given it 5 start rating. I stayed with my family and stay was excellent. May be other rooms have bigger bath or shower area. Don’t know. "

"If you want to talk about hospitable....this property has it. We booked a late reservation (about 30 minutes before we arrived). The owner informed us that all rooms were full. She explained that sometimes the booking services don't keep close tabs on the actual occupancy. We understood, but learned that our card had been charged for the stay. My wife and I asked if we could sit on their outdoor patio area to figure out our next move, which she was gracious to allow. Not only did she give us permission, she served us each a free glass of white wine and some snacks for our trouble. As we were looking, she came back and informed us they had a solution, that one of her friends who owns a bed-n-breakfast down the street had an open room. She said we could sleep there, but take advantage of the hotel privileges the next day at her property. The only thing that we'd be using the BnB for is to sleep and that she'd take care of paying for it from the funds we paid for a room at her place. Talk about going above and beyond!! That girl is a problem solver and better yet, exuded the Italian Family hospitality energy like no other. We are so grateful to them and would recommend staying there to anyone!"

"The hotel is in a very good location, walking distance (10-15mins) from the main square with shops, restaurants and a grocery shop. The hotel is in a beautiful scenery, up on the top of the island, with complimentary (free for guests of the hotel) frequent and very convenient shuttle transport from and to the port and a small beautiful sandy beach nearby (Cala Arene). The hotel also have sunbeds by the amazing rocky beach called Cala Tramontana, from where we enjoyed a fantastic sunset. There is also a small bar nearby overlooking the sea. The hotel personnel was exceptional, very helpful, polite and professional at all times. 5 stars to all of them! Food and drinks at the hotel pool bar and restaurant were of high quality, but also too high price, so 4 stars, I’m afraid. Cleaning of rooms and communal areas, 4 stars too! Not perfect but good enough. Only one point I cannot give more than 3 stars, it’s the decor of hotel rooms and interiors. It is very outdated, wore and tired. The hotel would benefit greatly of fairly easy and economical upgrading such as a new carpet (the existing is extremely tired and badly stained), and internal redecoration of walls. Room furniture is functional and sturdy but old looking. It doesn’t need replacing it, but a new colour paint would do wonders, in my view! In all fairness though, it seems that most of the other hotels and restaurants in the island are in the same outdated conditions. So it’s a common issue in the whole island. "
