We enjoyed a very pleasant stay at the Flower House from the minute we walked in the door. It smelled so nice, and there was a very thoughtful welcome snack waiting for us! Everything was clean and orderly, and the house came well-equipped for anything one might need. We did not allow our cats to venture into the kitchen or TV room, and that was easy to accomplish because each room had a door. The landlord's dogs were friendly and welcoming, too, with one greeting us every morning at the kitchen window! ;)The location of the apartment was convenient for us, with bus stops just up the street, a bakery almost right next door, and a fantastic local restaurant with great Francesinhas. Parking is a bit snug on the narrow dead-end street, but it was always available and we mostly used the buses or walked. It's a quiet area, though you can still hear local roosters and church bells at a distance. It was a very comfortable stay and the hosts were extremely kind and helpful.
