Much too expensive for the service we got
The property sits on the top of a hill overviewing a small village. The access is pretty difficult. The house is large and they did a lot outside of the house (garden / swimming pool) but the inside needs some refurbishment works; cleanliness was so so ... Due to the pandemic, I would have appreciated the owner to provide us with a new and clean sponge for example. The kitchen is not very well equipped either (no kettle, ...). Besides internet was not working which is a real hindrance nowadays .... Finally the owner stayed 10 minutes max upon our entrance to show us the house and we spent more time around the swimming pool than inside the house. She did not tell us where to put the trash or provide us with a few details (nearest supermarket ...). Finally, communication was not very easy even though we are fluent in French, English and Spanish.

surpresa desagradável
Eletrodomésticos (micro ondas, máquina café, frigorifico ) estragados e imundos. Lâmpadas fundidas ou em falta. Um unico e pequeno sofá todo manchado. Mobiliário vetusto e estragado. Tomadas elétricas e ferragens dos móveis arrancadas. Camada de pó sobre tudo. Cabelos na banheira e lavatório. Espelhos sujos e muito muito mais . Sem condições para uma estadia limpa e confortável. Na chegada a moradia cheirava bastante a bafio, sinal de há muito não ser arejada. Enfim tudo a rever. A merecer boa nota : a vista magnifica ( mas isso é a natureza) e a piscina agradável. Não recomendo. Ter em atenção que pessoas com deficiência motora, com ou sem cadeira de rodas, não acederão à moradia ( o acesso é feito por escada exterior ) nem à piscina cujo acesso é feito por uma rampa com declive muito acentuado. Ultima nota : no check in solicitaram uma caução de € 150 em líquido para eventuais danos !!! é pelo menos estranho. Danos sobre móveis, louças e e aparelhos eléctricos velhos e partidos ?

Casa com boas dimensões, piscina agradável. Restaurantes bons na região. Gostei muito de ouvir o galo de manhã. Bom para fazer uma pausa do stress da cidade.

Emplacement magnifique maison propre et tout ce qu'il faut à l intérieur et à l extérieur. Je réserverai sans hésiter à 100%. La propriétaire très gentil et dispo à tout moment.

Great authentic Portuguese property a great view!
The property sits on the top of a hill overlooking a small community. The view over the valley and the distant mountains is great. The house is comfortable and everything worked perfectly. Ricardo was very gracious and rented to us on one day’s notice. He even delayed some construction work to accommodate us.
