"What an amazing 24 hours we spent in the city with this view! I got out of bed at 3am just to admire the tower and take more pictures. It was totally surreal. The room was beautiful and clean. This was the largest bathroom we had in all of our European travels. Plus, the price was low! Completely reasonable. Staff was great. Very friendly! Would return FOR SURE! 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND! "

"This is a perfectly lovely hotel. The staff is very friendly and they offer snacks and a decent breakfast with meats,cheeses, cereal and pancakes. And espresso. There are some stairs but not bad and it’s only 2 small blocks outside the gates of Lucca. The mattress was lumpy but otherwise great heat and nice and roomy. It is a very good value. "

"We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was good and the room was comfortable. A few things to note, though: - the hotel is a good 15m walk from the walls of Lucca, so you need to plan your days as it’s not easy to pop back during the day, especially in the heat of August. It is very close to the gate to the walled city center, literally only minutes away. The accommodations were exactly as described. Checkin/out was very easy and convenient.
