What a rare privilege to be able to get out under a pitch black starry night, and take a break from wifi and cell phones. This place is well worth spending at least a night at and remembering what life was like before technology ruled us. Beautiful, amazing food, very comfortable cabin and private kitchen next door with rooftop patio. Great value for what you get, kind staff. Highly recommended...to say nothing of the beautiful falls nearby, it's like being transported into a completely different world than Cabo. My only recommendation would be if they could provide lawn chairs so you could star gaze at night. Truly stunning
Stay here for a restful natural retreat! Our cabana was clean and comfortable. Showers run almost hot (close enough!). We ordered breakfast and dinner daily from the onsite restaurant. The food was delicious, and they brought breakfast to our cabana so we could enjoy it on our private patio. The staff are lovely and the two resident dogs are sweethearts. What an incredible ranch in a beautiful part of Baja!
The waterfall swimming area is beautiful. Each unit has its own space and it’s very pleasant with a wonderful deck for stargazing. The goats, rabbits, turtles, donkeys and other animals are an added bonus.
This is a great place to unwind with no wifi and sporadic cell service. A great place to relax!
Amazing little spot. Very peaceful and very beautiful.

Disliked: Room comfort
Drinking water not provided for a stay at a hot tropical locale. Inconceivable for a property supported by hotels.com. Place not ready at time of check in - evidently unaware we had a (fully prepaid) reservation. Staff generally surly and decidedly unhelpful, as is the property management.
I absolutely loved this place. The casitas and kitchens are stylish, spacious and well set up. The waterfall and swimming is stunning. Staying there meant that when the gates close at 6 we had the canyon to ourselves…it was very special

Beautiful location, great hikes, excellent food. I would go again.
Wonderful place to stay--very different from the usual Baja experience. The staff are friendly, the accommodations marvelous, and the food excellent. The walk to the waterfall was one of the high points of our trip. The dirt/sand road is not a problem for a normal rental car. They have a great program preserving the Ecological Preserve, including an outreach/education program. Absolutely worth the trip off the main road.
Nice Mexican ranch about 30 min from Santiago down a dirt road. Spacious, new, clean cabins. Your cabin actually comes with 2 separate buildings- 1 with a bedroom bathroom and the other with a basic kitchen (that we did not use).
Bring earplugs- there are obviously animals on the ranch.
The restaurant was closed when we were there as the staff was on vacation but we heard it is normally quite good. Fortunately we learned about this before we arrived since we had emailed to ensure we would be able to order dinner on arrival since there are no other food options nearby. I would recommend emailing them beforehand to check about food availability as well. We had talked to them about having breakfast prepared as well but the staff was never awake or available before 8 am.
Our biggest issue was that communication was poor. One morning we left the ranch around 8 am for our activities and about 10 min into the drive to town there was a locked gate on the road. We had to turn around to go back to the ranch when an employee passed us driving to unlock the gate. We had no idea there was a gate that would be locked- if you are arriving late or leaving early, this is important to know!
We then emailed the property to let them know we would be checking out around 8 am the next day. They confirmed they gate would be open- at 830 the next day it was not. We had to wake up the staff to open it and they were unhappy.
Enjoyed the stay otherwise.
This was exactly what we were looking for. It was set up to meet the needs of the guests. We loved our little unit Which was much larger than what appeared in the photos. We walked to the falls and the paths were well taken care of it was an easy 10-15 minute walk The rooster woke us in the morning The people working there were very nice and helpful.
It was also near enough to Santa Rita that we could drive to the beautiful natural hot pools in that area. (about a 30 minute drive). All in all we had a great trip!
