"We recently spent a week at the Majestic Mountain View home, and it was truly wonderful. It snowed just before we arrived, which created some challenges for both us and the property manager. However, they handled the situation with kindness and generosity, and everything worked out very well.The house is really wonderful It's comfortable, has an absolutely amazing view (especially for sunsets), and has a very well-stocked kitchen. Obviously if you need some specific kitchen tool you should bring one along, but I have rarely seen a place with as many useful kitchen items as this one. I cooked every meal for a week in their kitchen with no issues at all.Definitely be aware that the house is truly isolated. It's at the top of a long, narrow gravel road with no other properties even close to it. For us, that was a big benefit. I don't think you absolutely need a 4WD car to get to the house, but if you're coming when it might rain or snow then it would probably be a good idea.I would not hesitate to come back here. We were very impressed overall by the house, and the property manager was really wonderful."

"Our experience in Nantahala Cabins was really amazing. These cabins have everything you can imagine you will need to make you feel like if you live here. Some are pet friendly (if you are bringing pets make sure you select 'or are assigned' a friendly one). Pet policy is also prefect, as they state you cannot leave pets unattended, unless in a crate; and this comes the best part: they provide the large and I would say Luxurious crate themselves. Fee might be a little more flexible, but you can bear it, and probably we ourselves deserve that (our pets are really well behaved, but you never know). Communication with management is superior; they are in the premises and take care of you as is your were from the First Class Deck. If you stay here you won't regret and you will clearly understand what we mean. Yes, I said select or 'are assigned' a cabin, because you may select one, but they may assign a different one due to actual conditions, like in our case that previous guests decided to stay longer (it seems they liked it, no wonder) we were upgraded; no complaints at all. Just double check you check- in instructions, especially the key code, with them prior to arrival. Surroundings are pretty cool, Bryson is a very cute city, make sure you evaluate attractions in advance and also make reservations in advance, like for the tour train, yes the train; we missed because it was sold out. And also The Lost Sea Adventure (well, it is not that close, but closer than home; missed)."
