"The hotel facilities seem quite nice, just lack of service staff. However the room we were assigned on the 1st floor does not have Wifi. The young fellow was kind enough to change us to a room on the 3rd floor, which was ok for us although it lacks certain amenities. The worst thing happened was upon the check out. "What an amazing hotel ! It's split into two halves, with the dining (and much more - chapel, art gallery, lovely rooms, including a games room!) in a separate building across the courtyard. If it's raining, there is a tunnel connecting the two! The breakfast was very good - the evening meal (we had half-board) was reasonably good, not outstanding. "This is a modern property. We had a room with a panoramic view onto the lake. Breakfast buffet was good but disappointing selection of Portuguese cheeses. The hotel has recently added a restaurant - excellent. Very little English spoken. "

"The hotel is acceptable, but the location on the booking site is WRONG. The hotel is much further from the city center than shown. This is not the first time I have encountered this deceptive practice. When I do, no one will take responsibility -- just finger pointing, then everyone shrugs as if to say "It's the customer's fault. The shouldn't have trusted us." Guess what, you're right. Why am I trusting a booking site that lies to me? "

"Great location and excellent room. Very surprised to stay in an Ibis that had so much character. Breakfast was also very good and the breakfast room has glass floors that allow a view to the old city underground—very cool. Would stay again and highly recommend. "

"We booked a room with 1 double bed and one single or twin bed in the same room, the hotel on the other hand seemed not to be aware of that and after being sent in a room with only one double bed we needed to change rooms, the advertised pool is empty, the breakfast is good, overpriced for what you get."
