If you’re ready for a fun-filled vacay in the middle of 30-a and walking distance to the beach and multiple restaurants, look no further than My Blue Sky, a Gulf-view home in the sought-after Old Blue Mountain Beach neighborhood. Blue Mountain Beach is located between Grayton Beach and Gulf Place. Here you will find everything needed to make your stay a memorable one! Old Blue Mountain neighborhood residents and rental guests have private beach neighborhood walkovers via three access points. Yours is a one-minute walk at the end of our quiet street.
My Blue Sky is a lovely “Old Florida cottage style” beach house with four bedrooms and three and a half baths accommodating up to eight. A twin house with separate owners, you’ll feel right at home amid the cheerful space with whimsical touches and coastal artwork scattered throughout the home. The ground floor features a walk-in bonus shower for removing the day’s sand. The second floor features a living area, kitchen, and screened-in porch, perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktails. The fully stocked kitchen features granite countertops with all small appliances and everything needed to prepare snacks for the beach or meals for your group. (Coffee maker is standard, not a Keurig) A full-sized washer and dryer are readily accessible for added convenience on the third floor.
Bedrooms are located on the third floor, with two ocean side queen bedrooms boasting private baths, and a shared deck with Gulf views. Bedrooms three and four include a queen and two twin beds and share a Jack and Jill bath. Exterior features include a drive under two-car carport that keeps your cars shaded on warm sunny days, and a fire pit with six seats, perfect for retelling stories of the day’s adventures. Beach chairs, umbrellas, bikes, and daily housekeeping are all available for an additional fee.
Rent a beach cruiser or an electric bike at Big Daddy’s Bike Rentals up the street, and spend the day exploring the many communities dotted along the 17-mile bike trail on 30A. Aloha surf shop has water toys, floats, and souvenirs.
Walk to Redfish Taco at Redfish Village great taqueria food and margaritas, and live music under the patio seven days a week; up the street find Johnny McTighe’s Irish Pub for sports, pizza and food, and Redd’s Fueling Station “dive bar” (behind Sally’s by the Sea gas station and convenience store) for a small kitchen menu, the famous singing bartender, and live music on Friday nights.
At the top of Blue Mountain Road and 30-A is Blue Mountain Bakery, open for breakfast and lunch daily with its famous cinnamon rolls, scones, muffins, wraps and sandwiches. Next to the bike shop is For the Health of It, an organic grocery with fresh smoothies and take out dips and snacks. Across the street is Cowgirl Kitchen for hearty breakfast and lunch. The Creamery is a must stroll up the street for homemade ice cream. A Publix grocery store is located one mile away on highway 98.
If you are driving an electric vehicle, we’ve added an OK2Charge EV charger. Before your stay, you will receive an activation email to register for the service or simply scan the QR code on the face of the charger when you arrive.
Parties, events, bachelor and bachelorette parties are strictly prohibited, and an adult chaperone must accompany guests under 25 throughout their stay. Smoking is strictly forbidden, and pets are unfortunately not welcome and subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Guests found in violation are subject to eviction with no refund.
